Budget| Budget Communication and define rhythm within the Finance community.
|Budget Tool Set-up| Collect information viz Gatekeepers, Budget Company, Currencies, Cost Center/ Internal Order mapping, Tax Rate and co-ordinate with IT to set them up in Budget Tool. Perform a 100% audit in UAT to check before launch of Budget tool in production.
|Centralized Budget Process Worldwide Operation| Expenses under central inputs perview - Incentive Compensation, Marketing, External resources, Bad Debt, Non-People, End Customer Investment Fund, Revenue Adjustment/ Revenue Driven.
 Co-ordinate with Central Finance Team for Worldwide Budget Target and the level of details the target will be provided.
 Design Power BI Budget models to cascade Budget Area Targets.
 Co-ordinate with Area Financial Controllers to agree;
o the level of details at which the cascade should be posted.
o decide the exchange rates to be used in posting.
o Seasonality option to be made available in Budget models (viz prior year Budget/Forecast/Actual)
 Update headcount ramp model to cascade Budget Headcount with Average Salary.
 Assist Area in updating Budget adjustment (Expenses/headcount) throughout the Budget cycle.
 Update reconciliation template to check if all budget adjustment posted are inline with Area target.
 Update reconciliation template to check People Cost, where Cost Per Head approach of Budgeting is implemented. This process helps to identify new Cost centers which should have CPH posting.
 Budget Product Allocation Rules set up wherever needed.
 Budget FX Adjustment after new fiscal year Budget rates are finalized.
 1 of 3 Budget super user, post tools lock out for the Area users.
| Forecast| Forecast Communication and define rhythm within the Finance community.
|Forecast tool set-up|
 Understand Global PL reporting structure/changes from prior year, for the current Fiscal year by syncing with Central finance team.
 Sync with Area Financial controllers every fiscal year to agree and define;
o The Geo Hierarchy for respective Areas.
o The Account Hierarchy and the level of detail each expenses will be forecasted with, viz Incentive Compensation/Revenue Adjustment expenses at Cost element level, Payroll at line item detail, People cost other than IC/payroll and OPEX at Line item.
 Define Functional Hierarchy for all Area’s in a sync with subject matter expert of each expenses head (viz Ring Fence Marketing).
 Define Pfam attributes for forecast and help set product allocation rules wherever needed.

|Centralized Forecast Process Worldwide Operation|

 Perform reconciliation to check
o Q1 Forecast equals Budget before tool opens to area users and any subsequent Forecast should equal Prior Forecast.
o Geo Hierarchy/ Account Hierarchy / Functional Hierarchy are inline with the set up agreed with Area Controllers and follow up with respective stake holders to get sign off for the Forecast tool setup
 Co-ordinate with respective subject matter expert to work on a draft forecast guidance for Area users before tool opens in production.
 Help area’s where forecast posting to be at a more granular level than what is defined in the tool.
