As Sr. Project Engineer: (Additional Responsibilities)
Issue & Tracking of Weekly and Monthly Look ahead plans for the Material Deliveries & Site works. Generate weekly report reflecting status of project, delays & reasons with site issues & requirements
Follow up with Engineering team to ensure release of Bulk MTOs for ordering and expediting with vendors for structure & spool fabrication at fabricator shops and job site
Coordinate with Engineering team, Supply chain management, Vendors, Construction team and expedite the delivery Package and bulk items.
Developing new vendors/ sub-contractors by visiting their shops and carrying out the sub-contractor evaluation as per the Company norms.
Visiting vendor shops for expediting the material deliveries to adhere to the Project Schedule
As Sr. Engineer (Quality):
Reading and understanding the package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications and health and safety measures, together with any associated updates.
Ensuring the contractor(s) are complying with the standards and specifications of the contract documents through PIM, Inspection reports and approval of procedures as well ITPs’.
Conduct Pre-Inspection meeting at supplier’s facility as required based on project assignment/Engineering criticality.
Approval of Quality Procedures, ITPs’ submitted by vendors and sub vendors-based projects specification as well International standards. (Mainly for Package items - Generator, Compressor, Pumps, Skids and many more)
Co-ordination with Third Party - Inspection agency and arranging inspection calls at Vendors place.
Review of Inspection reports submitted by TPI inspectors and verifying with PO & project specification requirement.
Performing Audit at Vendor place based on requirement as per Project Quality Plan.
Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
Issuance of IRN as well NCR & SOR. Also assisting in providing solution as well verify corrective action for same.
Reading and understanding the package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, together with any associated updates.
Ensuring the contractor(s) are complying with the standards and specifications of the contract documents through observation, measurements, and testing as well as tracking quality assurance progress
Implement the Construction Surveillance Program according to the approved Surveillance Plan
Promote Quality awareness throughout the vendor team and provide training if required.
Evaluation of supplier quality system at supplier’s facility.
Undertaking all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)
Conduct supplier alignment meeting at supplier’s facility as required based on SQS project assignment.
Managing & performing surveillance at vendor/supplier’s facility to validate effective implementation of supplier’s quality management system and purchase order as well as Inspection test plan.
Monitor and audit implementation of Contractor's Quality Program.
Ensure previous company's lessons learned are reviewed and that new company's learned are identified
Follow up and implement any site instructions made by the RE and ARE
Prepare any site measurements and surveying checks needed by the RE and ARE
Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
Witness performance test, MRT and NPSH test and assembly inspection of API pumps
Monitoring Health and Safety of construction work and report violation.
Issuing surveillance reports or evaluation reports documenting surveillance activities in timely manner as requested by SQS assignment.
Issue of NCR & SOR and assisting in providing solution as well verify corrective action for same.
Issuing release reports releasing product for shipping.
Ensure availability of latest revision QA/QC procedures, drawings, QCPs, work instructions etc at site for review and verification.
Carry out receipt inspection for equipments and structures as per project specification and relevant Codes/standards.
Perform necessary inspection for preservation of equipment before and after installation.
Preparation and maintaining preservation log register for equipments like Pump, Air Fin Cooler, Compressor and Static Equipment.
Active participation as Q captain for Flawless Project Delivery (FPD).
Verification of foundation release and perform necessary foundation inspection prior to erection of equipment and structure
Carry out inspection for erection, alignment and bolt tightening for equipment / structural steel.
Co-ordinate with vendor and client for stage wise inspection.
Carry out stage wise inspection for static equipments at different stages such as erection, alignment, final inspection and Box up as per approved ITP.
Carry out internals installation like schepontetor, demister, mist eliminator, catalylist, mellapack, chimney skiew chimney, BDH trays & Pall Rings.
Carry out stage wise inspection for rotary equipments at different stages such as Soft foot checking, preliminary alignment and final alignment as per approved ITP.
Preparation of inspection report and ITR for the final dossier submission.
Responsible for Preparation of QA & QC procedures (ITP, Hydro, PWHT, etc..) and documentation as per client specifications / Projects specification / as per code requirements.
To ensure compliance with API, National Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, ISO requirements and customer specific specifications /requirements.
Preparing and Monitoring the processes and systems are going on as per Inspection Test plan, Method Statement, PQP, Quality procedures and Process control.
Attending Pre-Inspection and Kick-off Inspection meeting with clients for confirmation of project requirement.
Carryout different type of tests PWHT, NDE, Hydrostatic / Pneumatic, Sand Blasting & Painting / Galvanizing based on code standards and Client Specification.
Investigates all processes in manufacturing, testing and inspection, which create non-conformances in the quality of the end product and makes recommendations for elimination of the cause.
To ensure compliance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ ASME Code Shop requirements and other Sections VIII and IX requirements.
Coordinating the processes, inspections, and offering the products to A.I & T.P.I (Moody, Velosi, ABS, Energy, GL, Technip, TUV, and BV) & Various Client.
Review & approval of Sub-Contractors, Quality Control Plan, and NDT Procedures.
Receiving site feedback from the customer and find the causes for deviation and give trouble shoot to avoid repeated failure in the future.
Preparation & Reviewing of Final Dossier Manufacturer Data Reports.
Facing the Internal & External Quality Audits as Auditee.
