A telecom professional with a decade long experience in telecom network design, project implementation, operation & maintenance in the field of oil & gas and utilities industry. Held projects with Qatar Petroleum, Saudi Aramco, Kahramaa, SEC as telecom system integrator to execute telecom and networking-based projects
1. Saudi Aramco Project: BI-10-242 (Construction of 4 substations in southern area GOSP)
• Lead the project as project engineer to coordinate with client as a focal point for the BI-242 Saudi Aramco Project, in conjunction with project manager.
• Based on my performance as a Project Engineer, promoted to construction manager to lead substation construction works at Abqaiq substation.
• As construction manager assisted planning engineer to prepare the project schedule, site survey, coordination with design contractor, finalization of construction contractor, site mobilization and kick off the construction works.
• As a construction manager achieved highest progress for my substation among all 4 substations.
• Additionally, took the responsibility of design & construction of telecom works on all 4 substation.
2. Saudi Aramco Project: BI-10-1247 (Construction of a substation)
• Designed and executed Power system automation (PSA) network connectivity from Safaniyah DCO to Dhahran OSPAS & Dhahran CDC with end to end test over existing SDH network (Alcatel Lucent 1660 & 1650).
• Designed and executed IP telephone system for Marjan Substation by extending the IP network from Juniper router inside Safaniyah DCO to Aruba 3810 switch inside the substation.
• Worked as telecom system integrator for various Qatar Petroleum projects in Ras Laffan area and received letter of appreciation from Qatar Petroleum.
• Lead implementation of telecom projects with Qatar Petroleum which includes SDH/PDH network, fire alarm network, SCADA network, PMS Network & TSS network using networking switches, Hotline & analog telephone.
• Designed Network infrastructure for SCADA, Fire alarm, PMS & telephony over SDH, PDH and Networking switches.
• Preparation of Method statement, JSA, BOQ, material submittal, SAT, red line markup & As built drawing submission after the completion of the project construction.
• Skills - SDH, PDH, SNCP, E1, STM, Routing & Switching Technolgies, IP, VLAN, ARP, RIP, RSTP.
• Network Element - Alcatel Lucent SDH 1660, 1660SM, 1642, PDH 1511Max, SAR8-7705, Moxa IKS6726, Moxa PT7828, Ruggedcom RSG2100, Allied Telesis.

4. EPIC for Potable Water Storage Tanks and Pumps, Qatar Petroleum, Ras Laffan.
5. EPIC of Analytical and Process instruments in Dukhan water Network.
6. EPIC For Power Factor Correction Equipment For Dukhan 33 kV Electrical Network, QP Dukhan.
7. Barzan Onshore project Ras gas, Ras Laffan (JGC).
8. Operation & Maintenance of Qchem SDH & Fiber Network network.
Project Assigned: Operation & Maintenance of Transmission System (MTS Gujarat Circle).
Network Elements: SDH (Tejas), Microwave Equipment (Ceragon IP10 and IP10G) NMS
• Installation & Commissioning of Microwave links.
• Managing and monitoring microwave links through Ceragon NMS system.
• Defining protection for microwave network ring using STP, RSTP through NMS.
• Provisioning of E1 using Tejas EMS and defining their protection using SNCP, MSP protection technique and
troubleshooting of E1 and STM links.
• Costumer meeting for preventive maintenance and providing action plan to rectify the Microwave links with
degraded signal level.
• Knowledge of microwave link planning using path loss and map info tool
Network Elements: Ceragon Microwave IDU (FibeAir IP10, FibeAir IP10G) ODU (14 Ghz & 18 Ghz), NMS
• Installation & Commissioning of Microwave links.
• Implemented microwave link connectivity using 15G & 18G radios.
• Worked as project coordinator for microwave link implementation with various Costumers like Tata
Teleservices, Uninor, Aircel & MTS.
• Providing Technical Support to teams for smooth operation of project.
• IP Planning and integration of network elements with NMS.
• Monitoring microwave network elements through NMS from NOC.
