Responsible for ensuring that proper and effective project control measures are executed by the EPC Contractor with emphasis on schedule planning and progress monitoring.
Provides supervision and guidance to the Cost, Planning and Schedule Engineers. Responsible for
monitoring the EPC Contractor and overall project cost and schedule performance.
Provides project cost, schedule, progress measurement and change management expertise to Project Team.
Leads the review and evaluation of EPC Contractor’s plans and procedures for project controls, progress, scheduling, and cost control and modifies as necessary to meet the project’s objectives.
Leads reviews and endorses claimed progress reported by the EPC Contractor.
Leads reviews and interrogates cost and schedule basis of EPC Contractor's change requests/proposals - reviews and endorses change orders.
Assists Project Leadership Team in developing/reviewing cost and schedule corrective actions and recovery plans and making sure needed actions/plans are implemented.
Leads ongoing project cost and schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting, and change management.
Analyzes cost and schedule trends, reviews cost, and schedule forecasts prepared by Cost Engineer
Advisor.
Leads the reviews and monitors cost and schedule implications of changes. Provides timely advice on cost and schedule impact of changes, modifications or alternatives and maintains project trend and change order log.
Coordinates preparation of weekly and monthly reports. Performs review and consistency checks of weekly and monthly reports prior to issuance to Business Manager.
Prepares input of monthly cost control reports vs. control budget including cost forecast, expenditures and commitments.
Promotes inter-departmental communications and encourages teamwork. Establishes clear
communications between the PMTs and Contractor.
Reports directly to the Business Manager at the EPC Contractor’s home office location.
Provides an interface between Project Leadership Team, PMT members and EPC Contractor in respect of cost & schedule performance, reporting, review and necessary approvals.
Participates in: 1) Weekly Progress Status; and 2) Kick-Off Meetings with the Contractor and PMT to
ensure common understanding of cost, schedule, estimating, progress measurement, and change
management requirements (as required\}. This requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.
Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, interpersonal understanding, and self- confidence.
Ensures company Function endorsement of Cost Estimates and Project Schedules (as required).
Preparation of BL schedule Based on Contract and Client Requirement.
Prepare, update and ensure that schedule (Primavera P6) is based on project execution strategy and schedule milestones are achievable.
Monitoring and updating Progress measurement sheet on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Prepare resource efficiency sheet. (Level 4).
Prepare and update S Curve and Manpower histogram and check if these are achievable.
Prepare the 3-week look-ahead schedule and make the micro plan with the coordination of Discipline Engineer.
Compare & analyze earned value with actual and planned values and report in the form of CPI and SPI.
Estimate the additional or modification requirements of the project and get it Approved from client based on Actual Supporting documents.
Preparing Extension of Time and other reports related to Delay Analysis (Window Analysis (Primavera), Impact schedule (Primavera), Cause and Effect diagram, Critical path analysis, arranging and updating incoming and outgoing correspondences, Updating timely Hindrance register).
Preparing Monthly invoice.
Preparing and updating Project Cashflow sheet.
Co-ordinate with the design department and collect the product and project details.
To prepare production path for product.
To prepare Planning for project or product based on activity and required man-hours.
Get the details from the workshop about the required material, tools and tackles are available at place while start the production.
Execute Manufacturing activities as per the prepared schedule and co-ordinate with Sr. planning engineer about progress.
Co-ordinate with Quality Department for Inspection & get Approval for Mass Production and further process.
Send the material outside if further treatment to be done as per requirement like painting, galvanizing or etc.
Maintain All documents and records related to production and as well as planning.
Co-ordinate with involved departments and get the concerns of product and clear it.
Prepare actual total product manufacturing cost and revert back to estimation department.
Co-ordinate with client for sample approval and get it confirmed for mass production.
