• Support Manager, and Project Manager for 1/3 projects on a C4ISR program, responsible for the transfer of technology and knowledge (ToTK) to UAE Nationals. ToTK will deliver the technology, and facilitate the operation, through life support solution and the continuing evolution of the system
• Transfer of technology included the delivery / transfer of software, software and hardware development centres, simulation and experimentation laboratories to the training and system support facility for the through life evolution and support of the C4ISR system
• Transfer of knowledge included the coordination of workplace and formal training, often abroad, of civilian staff and members of the Customers Armed Forces, for all C4ISR project disciplines including Project Management, Configuration Management, Requirements Management, Risk Management, IT, Software Engineering, ILS, IV&V, Systems Engineering and System Support
• The satisfactory conclusion of the program ensures the technology can be utilised to further evolve the C4ISR system by UAE Nationals, in support of their Armed Forces
• Prepared a bid for a secure C2 system for a network to be used by Armed Forces Command Centres, Civilian Ministries and VVIPs, regardless of the latter's location worldwide 24/7.
• Planned and delivered a C4I System ILS and Training programmes, until a CDR milestone
• Control Account Manager (CAM) for both programmes; ensured the successful delivery of the two control accounts to performance, schedule and cost
• Managed the ILS and Training deliverables from suppliers and subcontractors
• System Support Unit design (facility providing Help Desk, Hardware and Software Engineering and Development Environments, Depot/Level 4 IT/Communications maintenance facility)
• System Training Unit design (facility for formal training delivery by the Trainers for a surge of ~2, 500 trainees in C4I Operations, Operations Support and Maintenance)
• Lead and motivated a multi national team including Customer Military 'Participation With Industry' personnel. Ensured ILS and Training team performance, motivation and competence development
• Developed a training solution for a complex Target Audience numbering >2, 500 Trainers/Trainees in 182 different military roles in a program combining orthodox and innovative training options
• Programmed, planned and implemented a combined deliverable of an IETM and Hard Copy publications (Positional Handbooks, User and Technical/Maintenance Manuals)

• Author of Defence Standard 00-49 - MoD Guide to R&M Terminology Used in Requirements.
Future Rapid Effect System
• Lead the R&M proposal on the Atkins' winning bid to become the Systems House during the FRES initial Assessment Phase (iAP)
• Performed a R&M risk evaluation to provide a discriminator that informed the early fleet options reduction process to reduce the overall risk to the through life programme
• Assessed the technology and supportability readiness of a number of Supplier Technology Demonstrator Programmes (TDPs)
Acquisition, Safety & Environmental Management System
• PM/Delivery Manager for a 'Tiger Team' implementation to 30 Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) IPTs of the new Acquisition, Safety and Environmental Management System (strategy for business case legislation/compliance
• The Tiger Team successfully aided the IPTs to address the safety and environmental compliance gap in an achievable timeframe. The response was 'outstanding results given the timescales'.
UKINTELWEB / Integrated Broadcast System
• Produced the Use Cases for the UK Intelligence Website (UKINTELWEB) / Integrated Broadcast Systems (to support planning, strategic and operational level Situational Awareness for the intelligence services within the UK MoD)
Network Enabled Air Defence System
• Performed the role of 'Customer Friend' to the MoD IPT ILS Manager. Developed the Supportability programme for the Concept Phase and prepared the Delivery and Acceptance procedures for Project Review and Assurance (PR&A)
BOWMAN Integrated Project Team
• Consultant/advisory/troubleshooting project support to the BOWMAN and Land Digitisation Delivery team within the UK MoD Defence Procurement Agency (DPA)
UK Heavy Equipment Transporter - Private Finance Initiative
• Consultant/Contractor. Performed the role of 'Third Party' Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the UK HET acceptance process
• Successfully delivered the ILS and R&M programme for the UK MoD HET PFI Capability Contract.
Clearance Divers Life Support Equipment (CDLSE)
• Managed all deliverables for the Initial Operating Capability (IOC) including the Safety Case, Human Error Analysis, FMECA/Fault Tree Analysis; LSAR, Spares Ranging, Scaling Modelling, R&M Plan and Case, AR&M Modelling and Software Development, Testing and Audit/Review.
UK Wheeled Tanker
• Pre/Post-Contract Award. Consultant PM for ILS and AR&M in support of the winning bid for the WT contract
• Demonstration/Manufacturing Phase. Maintained the ILS/AR&M programme, Initiation, control and administration of the DRACAS including the Failure Review Boards (FRBs)
• In-Service Phase. Contractor ILS/AR&M Manager. Coordinated both programmes including FRBs; Production Testing; Key Performance Indicator (KPI) planning; production of Trials and R&M Case Reports
• Performed ILS/Training analyses on a system assimilating Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS), Modified COTS and (developed) technically innovative equipment.
