Develop technical design and detailing drawings based on rough sketches, specification and calculations from engineers, surveyors and architects.
Produce detail drawing from Engineer’s/Designer’s calculations such as rebar schedule, civil &structural detailing and material take off.
Maintain and update master CAD files for the entire project such as Road, Grading, and Drainage Overall Layout as well as the Road and Drainage blow-up details; Road setting-out and profile drawings, gully trap and both reinforced concrete and soakage channel drain location and details.
Translate design briefs and conceptual designs into detailed construction engineering drawings, flow diagrams, & schematics for roads, buildings, structural, drainage and landscaping.
Assists in supervising sub-contractor draftsmen in structural detailing and procedures.Ensure compliance of drawings with regulatory specifications.
Working within MEP Team and create high quality HVAC / Electrical / Pipeworks / Plumbing / Fire Security drawings using 2D and 3D software.
Preparing of piping layouts, isometrics fabrication drawings, engineering flow diagrams and material take off.
Carries out construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from Spoolgen (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports).
Carries out bill of materials or material take off for requisitions.
Informs all people concerned with the modifications resulting from the documents produced.
Updates the documents produced after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders on the project (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)
Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications provided by Architectural Project Coordinators and/or Project Designers.
Checks and corrects work prepared by others in order to conform to standards, specifications, and design requirements.Propose, recommends, and justifies changes in materials, construction methods, equipment installations, specifications, and architectural drawings.
Determine a method of presentation in order to graphically represent building plans.
Produced copies of appropriate documents and maintain information regarding adjustments to the project.
Conduct job site visits and gathered measurements as necessary and obtained data to complete architectural designs.
Prepares coloured drawings of interior designs and landscape for presentation to client.
Responsible for preparation of plans and layout on interior arrangements for buildings and structures using AutoCAD programs/software.
Analyse space programming according to the no. of occupants and necessities on a space and site requirement to determine their impact on architectural design.
Responsible for preparation of drawings to be used on production of Rig steel works and various structural repairs works on latest version of Auto CAD &Tribon.
Prepare auto cad drawings of hull, bulkhead, access ladder & platforms and equipment support for fabrication purposes.
Prepares and submit detailed drawings of steel structures from nesting plan, fabrication drawings for classification societies and client approval, BOM, Issued for Construction Drawings to As Built Drawings.
Maintained co-ordination drawings to avoid clashes to other Engineering Department i.e. Naval Architecture, HVAC, Piping& Electrical.
Carry out site visit prior to the preparation and verification of technical data.
Responsible for preparation of detailed scale plans for buildings and structures based on draft concepts, specification, etc.
Prepares detailed drawings showing dimensions, materials, and construction details.
Create engineering computations in determining strength or capacity of structural members and components.
Verify dimensions of materials available to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials.
