29 Dec '2012 to 28 Dec 2013 with Samsung C&T Corporation (Dammam, KSA) as an Instrumentation & Control Engineer in the following Project.
4000MW CCPP QURAYYAH INDEPENDENT POWER PLANT with HAJR ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION COMPANY/SIEMENS:
❖ Performing as a Instrumentation Engineer and inspecting erection and pre-commissioning activities in 12 units of Gas turbine & HRSG (Heat recovery steam generation) and 6 units of Steam turbine which included Calibration and erection of field instruments &, valves, cable trays, conduits, earthing, control, Instrument, optical cable laying,
testing & terminations, etc.
❖ Reviewing instrumentation scope of work, drawings & executing construction & monitoring in line with the project specification & standards-plan/schedule/supervise.
❖ Dealing subcontractors and their workmanship with respect to project requirements in line with the EPC contract.
❖ Preparing Erection Completion Certificate in order to do the Cold-Commissioning for the start-up of the project.
❖ Co-ordinate with client to conduct inspection at site and witnessing all testing and commissioning activities of the plant according to the checklist and requirements. And conducting weekly and monthly internal and external audits for all construction records, FAT (Factory Acceptance Reports), testing equipment calibration certificate and testing reports.
Keeping all records and reports and making Turn over package with respect to Mechanical completion of the plan

* Liaise with other disciplines on construction activities.
* Preparation of daily/weekly progress reports.
* Preparations of monthly look ahead schedule.
* Liaise with the client on day to day construction activities.
* Field supervision of the construction activities which includes cable trench excavation, structural and cable tray work, fabrication of instrument and junction box frames and foundations, cable laying, glanding, termination, inter panel cabling and panel installations for Emergency Shutdown systems, Fire & Gas and DCS systems.
* Identifying/Arranging requirements of materials and manpower to perform instrument construction activities at site.
* Execution Co-ordination of Pre-Commg activities & Loop checking
Involved in a shutdown project as a Supervisor in executing minor construction jobs related to Instrumentation. Later played a key role in commg. and start up activities engaging Foreman & Technicians.
