• Leads strategic transactions, such as M&A and major capital raises for Regalis and partner companies.
• Builds relationships for investment with equity and debt investors as part of the capital raising process.
• Currently managing transactions with potential total value of approximately USD 3.7 bln (debt and equity).
Provide finance support to projects, including M&A deals, disposals, capital projects and JVs. Assist with or be responsible for preparation of financing plans, selection of funding sources / banks, the structuring and execution of project financings. Be responsible for or supervise and approve work on non-project related activities (e.g. annual impairment tests, lookbacks, etc). Supervise, train and coach junior members of the team. Manage external advisors, deal timetables and DD exercises, and ultimately execute the project finance requirements under the authority of the VP Finance.

a) Worked as independent consultant with local investment bank to generate equity research and capital market, private placement transactions with mid-size oil & gas companies in West Africa.
b) Advised the government of a major West African country on the privatization of its electricity distribution and generation companies, tariff setting and valuation through utilizing the national tariff model.
c) Established and jointly managed a private equity fund manager and investment advisory boutique focused on investment in energy and infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa.
Established joint venture to develop Renaissance Capital's M&A advisory capabilities to the oil & gas sector in Africa and Asia
Based in Istanbul, Turkey - established and managed 6 person analyst team in Delhi, India, focused on generating mandates and research for oil & gas advisory in West Africa and other geographies.
Generated significant oil & gas advisory and capital markets mandates.
