Performs electrical maintenance in the yacht
➢ Scheduled checking, testing and cleaning of generators, electrical panels,
electric motors, lighting fixtures, electronic circuit boards, sensors, appliances,
instruments, equipments, batteries and power supplies inside the yacht.
➢ Regular check up and testing of navigational and monitoring system of the
yacht.
➢ Maintain all Air conditioning units’ Chillers & Air handlers in good condition.

Fundamentals of electronics
➢ Utilize electronic components and semiconductors, connect electronic
materials using bread board, perform PCB etching processes and troubleshoot
electronic components.
•Electromechanical processes and controls
➢ Connect different kinds of electrical motor control circuit diagram using
electrical sensors.
➢ Install 220V/440V, 1phase & 3phase motors controlled by motor control circuit
diagrams.
•Industrial/commercial building wiring and maintenance
➢ Read blueprint diagrams, perform different electrical wiring connections and
troubleshooting.

•AC and DC electrical instruments
➢ Use and operate different kinds of electrical instruments like AC/DC Ammeter,
AC/DC Voltmeter, insulation resistance tester, megger, tachometer, clamp
ammeter, multi tester, etc.
➢ Install 220V/440V 1phase & 3phase motors controlled by motor control circuit
diagrams.
