1- As Senior Track Expert, I provide project management support for the delivery of this EPC/Turnkey project, known as the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit System that will connect the North and South areas of Jakarta, with an extension of circa 23, 3 km of ballastless railway.

2- While liaising directly with the Client, I fulfill the following main duties on his behalf:
- Technical design and construction design review and approval for the permanent way;
- Management between EPC/Turnkey civil and railway contractors on the design stage and on the construction stage in accordance with FIDIC Yellow & Silver Book requirements;
- Oversee all construction works, including the interface with other sub-systems such as maintenance workshop facilities at the Depot Area, OHL, signaling (CBTC), traction power, stations and civil works;
- Chair all design and construction progress meetings for trackworks sub-system and interface issues;
- Review and advise on the work programme and on the detailed planning for all railway activities;
- Assist in the analysis of all variation orders and claims submitted against the Client;

3- Delivery of monthly reports for project progression and cost control.

1- Under a SLA, I managed this temporary maintenance contract, focusing mainly on corrective and emergency works required to deliver a satisfactory railway operation, overseeing five permanent way camps established in strategic points along this heavy haul railway corridor of 620 km of extension, while complying with all environment, quality, health, and safety requirements.

2- Capitalization of performance by fulfilling the following duties:
- Contract administration aligned with the agreed work plan and project requirements;
- Daily field inspections to identify all critical locations for immediate intervention, such as slope corrections, drainage systems maintenance, rail, sleeper and fastening replacement, leveling of open joints and execution of aluminothermic welding;
- Monitoring of project track geometry parameters; light and heavy tamping activities;
- Development and approval of all construction/maintenance methodologies for civil and track works;
- Interface with the OCC for track possession management;

3- Ensure strict adherence to service-level agreements by ensuring a prompt response to all issues that may occur during the train operations in accordance with the agreed contractual conditions.

4- Delivery of weekly and monthly reports for project progression and cost control.

1- Under this EPCM contract, I took charge of the rehabilitation of 600 km of heavy haul railway between Nkaya Junction, Malawi; and Nacala, Mozambique, while constructing 180 km of crossing loops, realignments, and re-routings along the corridor in line with the planned quality, environment, social development deployment strategies, and health and safety standard requirements, as well as with national laws and standards.

2- Led a wide range of work infrastructure packages, involving large earthworks; side and subsoil drainages; culverts, realignments, and crossing loops; station bypass and bridges reinforcement; superstructure works; material depot construction for ballast, rail, and concrete sleepers; signaling and telecommunications infrastructure and access roads construction.

3- Led more than 4 km of elevated track construction over existing and new bridges.

1- As Construction and Project Manager on behalf of a main contractor, I managed the delivery of several railway projects for different Clients, like TCDD, CFR, CFM, RENFE (ADIF) and REFER, including civil, geotechnical and large infrastructure works; also, for major railway sub-systems, but not limited to: track works, OLE & OHL, signaling, telecom and traction power over more than 500 km of permanent way, stations and maintenance depots and workshops, in strict compliance with applicable legislation and environmental, quality, health and safety policies and requirements.

2- Main responsibilities performed:
- Contract management, including subcontractors, equipment, materials and services suppliers;
- Development and monitoring of the master work plan and of all detailed planning;
- To oversee and approve all monthly measurement bulletins, based on field surveying, in physical progress reporting and invoicing control;
- Budget supervision and forecasting, supported in issued physical and financial progress reports;
- Direct management of all variation orders and claims against or on behalf of the Employer;
