Took a break from career for family care, quit Praxair in Feb 2013. Mean while started working as freelancer Project
Management Consultant to individuals and assisting organizations with business solutions, Providing consultancy in
establishing PMO’s, Knowledge management platforms, State of the art project management tools & integration to various
industries viz. Architects & builders, Infrastructure, Oil & energy, Petro chemicals, power plants and distribution franchisees.

Responsible for a portfolio& Program of USD 450 M worth of projects(ASU, Oxygen plants & H2 plants). Support global
portfolio on international proposals and projects (Middle East, Asia Pacific, Russia, Americas and Europe)
• Direct management of Project Management group including Project controls, cost estimation, planning, Material &
Document controls, shared services (Purchase to pay), IT and knowledge management.
• Develop proposal & execution strategies for various programs within the portfolio for winning business. Participate with
Business & Project team in evaluating and identifying risk and opportunities in new business.
• Lead or assist Project Team from Proposal (FEL), Planning, Execution, Closing and Capitalization. Focus on development,
documentation/record and apply value improving practices (VIP).
• Organize & Participate in stage gates from proposal to closing& capitalization.
• Resource assignment, staffing & hiring, budgeting capital expense and finalizing engineering rate
• Review with global leadership on execution performance of portfolio and proposals & business impact.
• Projects: Birla Copper, RIL Hazira, TATA STEEL, JSW, JSPL, IOCL Paradeep, Bahrain Steel plant, India Glycol, UPL etc.
Achievements
• Improved de-scoping during FEL (Proposal) from 0.5% to 7% in standard product line and custom product line.
• Improved cost and schedule performance KPI from 15% & 22%to within 2 %.
• Led Lean & productivity initiatives achieving capital reduction by 5 percent YOY. Significant reduction of large cranes
duration & developed lean construction methodology.
• Improved engineering schedule by 7% by implementing vendor drawing & in house eng deliverables management.
• Credited for initiating engineering changes that showed proven improvement in a major projects schedule by 21 days.
• Credited for continuous rating of “standard” in ‘US internal auditing’.
• Achieved safety KPI “zero-zero” consistently. Zero fatality & Zero lost work case.

May 1999 - Aug 2003 Dodsal Ltd., India. (Oil & gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals, Power & Infra)
Dodsal with construction over 22 countries is one of the leading EPC player in Energy, Industrial, Infrastructure, exploration and
production sectors. Dodsal also carries out infrastructure development & management projects and has already implemented
on finance, build, operate and transfer basis pipeline projects in India and North Africa.
Planning I/C (from 1999 to 2003)
• Planning in charge for construction of 291 km. Cochn-Karur-Irugur pipe line with main Terminal and 2 booster pumping
stations, 15 unmanned & 2 manual valve stations for Petronet CCK Ltd (Kerala). And was Responsible for IPCL- Dahej
(Gujarat) Gas cracker unit & steam pipeline, billing &reconciliation & estimation for job site tenders.
• Prepare cost estimate & schedules based on local labour rates for bench marking contract cost. Lead or assist team in
selection & finalize field contracts. Estimates for site modifications, post award of principal contract.
• Responsible for restoration of 12x24” sinking U/G manifold, 11 kV switch yard civil works, structures and breakers, piling,
construction of office and control room buildings, rectification of pump foundations & construction of valve stations.
• Projects: IPCL Dahej - Gas Cracker Unit, Ethane/Methane recovery Unit, Offset piping & IBR piping for combined cycle
power plant of 2x65 mw, Installation of Mitsubishi 19 mw turbine, Repair of burnt columns etc. And Gandhar Terminal
Piping. Petronet CCK Ltd-Main Terminals, Booster Terminals, Multi Product pipeline of 271 km 24”/18”.
Achievements
• Organized public hearing for (Dahej -Gandhar-Baroda BOOT pipeline project), PCB clearance & obtained clearance.
• Exceeded monthly revenue and achieved highest turnover in PCCK project worth INR 500 cr.
• Successful in closing all field contracts and obtain NOC & completion certificates for INR 150 cr.

• Successful start up of a construction firm, operations and captured business from various industry sectors worth INR 85 lac
• Erection of 3X30 MW Retrofit ESP Port Bhilai Steel Plant’s Captive Power Plant including shut down job for ESP hook up in
a record 21 days and plant shut down just for a day.
