Procurement
• Extract materials, equipment & services from BOQ for pricing.
• Use supplier data, supplier websites, and internal communications to
source the suitable equipment/material required for the projects.
• Get pricing from different suitable manufacturers and distributors.
• Cooperate closely with vendors to learn more vital detailsabout their
goods and services.
• Review received quotes for technical evaluation.
• Make the comparison for prices, delivery, and specification
assessment and discuss with Project Engineer to get approval.
• To get the best quote, haggle pricing with providers.
• Ensure that all materials & equipment are as per approved
specifications & within the allocated budget.
• Prepare material requisition for purchase order issuance by an officer.
• Place orders and follow up closely with suppliers and warehouse to
ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
• Update the database for materials, equipment, and services prices
based on vendors’ quotations.
Logistical
• Organize product pickup and delivery including items bought abroad,
as well as international shipping to clients and project locations.
• Furnish packing list and commercial invoices for shipping.
• Create and send requisitions for delivery notes, tax invoices,
payments, GRNs, etc. to the relevant departments for processing.
Identify customer requirements and coordinate with the sales team for proposal preparation.
• Submit proposals to clients and discuss the same if required.
• Monitor closely the parameters of water treatment facilities of our clients to ensure compliance
with standard limits.
• Make a root-cause analysis to be able to point out the possible causes of the problems arising in the
water treatment program of our clients.
• Technical discussion with our counterparts to have the necessary recommendations as solutions and
prevent further recurrence of the problems.
• Conduct on-site analysis of the water standard parameters to determine the necessary corrective and
preventive actions.
• Conduct reverse osmosis (RO) membrane cleaning; and chemical de-scaling of boilers, condensers, lube
oil coolers, exhaust gas economizers, and bottle washer/soakers as required by clients.
• Assist deliveries, process billings, and payment collections from clients.
