A subsidiary of Malaysian Zelan Berhad group (ZHSB), listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange with a strong track record in engineering and construction as well as property & development across South East Asia. Sidra Tower in Dubai was the largest overseas project with a value of $88m.

Designed by KDI Architect, the AED925m ($252m) project consisted of 4 towers sharing a 7-storey podium, the largest contract ever for ZHSB in the UAE to be completed in 30 months (delayed in 2010 due to client cash flow difficulties). Accountable directly to the Project, Commercial and Business Development Manager I had full responsibility for all pre- and post-contract issues of 10 major and all minor subcontractors.
 Led direct negotiation with all subcontractors to the final agreements achieving multiple millions USD of savings from initial project budget with full authority for contractual correspondences with subcontractors and suppliers.
 Full responsibility for preparation of scope for subcontractors’ tenders, evaluation and comparison of received tender offers advising senior management.
 Preparation of letters of intent, of awards & sub-contract agreements.
 Monitoring of all major and minor sub-contracts, scope changes and claims management.
 Timely preparation of progress payment certificates to all subcontractors and suppliers until final accounts.
 Achieved all targets despite the very small team size of 3 staff for large scope of the project.
