detailed allocation of resources according to priority and
strategic direction with particular emphasis on security
operations of the Terminal Police Division.
4. Officer-in-Charge, VVIP/Diplomatic Escort Unit

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitors the arrival and departure schedules of VVIP,
diplomats and diplomatic couriers for prompt assistance or
accommodation at NAIA Terminal lounges as directed by the
airport general manager.
• Ensures VVIP/diplomat/diplomatic courier is
accommodated/assisted by an escort.
• Coordinates with government authorities at the airport to
facilitate the arrival and departure of the VVIP, diplomats and
diplomatic couriers.
Experiences Gained
• More responsible in handling security and prompt assistance
and/accommodation of the President and its foreign
counterparts, Head of local and foreign diplomatic missions,
diplomatic couriers at the VVIP and dignitary lounges at NAIA.
• Develop self-confidence in meeting high ranking government
officials (local or foreign) of various departments.
3. Supervisor, Civil Aviation Security Inspector - Airport Security
Inspectorate Office

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists the Head, ASIO in preparation of the budget proposals
and program initiatives including detailed allocation of
resources according to priority and strategic direction and
programs with particular emphasis on corporate oversight
security operations.
• Supervises the Civil Aviation Security Inspectors (CASIs)
under my shift towards the conduct of monitoring activities to
ensure proper implementation of measures by the
stakeholders’ compliance to local and international standards.
• Conducts civil aviation security inspections, audits, surveys,
tests and investigations on security lapses to prevent its
recurrence and ensure the effectiveness of aviation security
related programs.
• Makes follow-ups and ensures compliance of all stakeholders
to local and international standards.
• Prepares and submits report of surveys, audits, inspections
and tests with recommendations for its immediate corrective
and preventive actions by the stakeholders at the airport
complex, which include: airport terminal, cargo, catering,
general aviation, airfield and airlines in accordance with the
requirements of National Civil Aviation Security Program and
Annex 17 Standards and Recommended Practices.
• Performs Intervention to the conduct of improper
implementation of measures and coordinates to the duty
supervisor for immediate corrective actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enforces and implements local laws, regulations, traffic,
crowd control, access control of persons/vehicles, and the
preventive measures in accordance with the ASP.
Experiences Gained
• Knowledge and enhancement of skills and capability to
enforce local laws, rules, regulations, policies and
implementation of aviation security measures at NAIA.
5. OIC, Intelligence Section, Intelligence and Investigation Division
- APD

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts monitoring of illegal and nefarious activities of
subjects at the NAIA and to effect arrest if necessary.
• Conducts intelligence operations from surveillance,
information/data gathering, classification, evaluation and
proper disposition of intelligence reports.
Experiences Gained
• Abled to draft the preventive security measures and
procedures for the flow of passengers, crew, ground staff, and
authorized persons in the departure and arrival areas with
corresponding access limitations of personnel in the security
restricted area of Terminal 1.
• Cleared the security restricted area of Terminal from the
presence of unauthorized persons.
