Collect all sources of new reservations which come through the following
channels: guest correspondence, faxes, e-mail, online reservation and phone
calls and loading all these reservations on the hotel system.
Handling all individual bookings through the phone and providing the
customer with all information about the hotel policy, facilities, restaurants
and entertainment activities during their future accommodation at the
hotel according to the hotel telephone standard.
Handling all travel agents calls regarding to hotel availability, requests and
cancellations according to signed contracts.
Following up the payment with travel agencies in order to keep reservations
definite on hotel system or release reservations that exceeded time limit.
Keep communicating with sales team and handling requests and reservations
coming through them.
Reviewing the arrival for the following day and make sure all information is
updated and nothing is missing from the guest request.
Preparing all daily and monthly reports.
Have a good knowledge with contracts especially the tour operators contracts
also maintain and apply the cancellation policies, release periods and
allotments.
Keep communicating to make the team updated with the new information
received from other departments or the head management.
Identify Sales opportunities through individuals, corporate, wholesalers and
Travel management companies.
