Healthcare Planner and medical equipment specialist focused on hospital planning, programming and the integration of advanced medical technologies. Nearly 30 years of experience in hospital and research enterprise planning, design and construction. Represented major teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School and other distinguished Academic Health Centers, including medical equipment management for the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and recently, 5 specialist hospitals in Saudi Arabia.
Serve primarily as an Owner’s representative and liaison between the clinical staff and design team. Possess a full working knowledge of both clinical and research design requirements along with US, British and Australian hospital models, safety codes and standards. Provide assistance to Owners, Architects and Builders. Versed in some of the most technically challenging aspects of hospital construction including traditional, modular and hybrid OR's; advanced Imaging suites; infectious & protective environments; USP 797 cleanrooms, clinical laboratories, sterile processing and effective infection risk control strategies. My professional association with networks of renowned subject matter experts and world-wide outside expertise allows quick problem solving, regardless of issue.

Seconded employee, embedded with the developer as the Medical Equipment Director for 5 Specialist Hospitals being built simultaneously in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These included a Children's Hospital; a Neuroscience & Trauma Care Center; a Women's & Maternity Care Hospital; and two General Hospitals in outlying communities. Directed a team 7 MEQ specialists and planners working for both my company and the Developer. Ensure infrastructure for medical and support equipment was properly designed, installed and tested, ready for use without problems or costly delay. Provided guidance and interpretation of clinical design for functionality and accreditation.
