Taking on a more senior role as a Manager, responsibility is now more broad to a level of less supervision. This includes handling and managing projects in the IoT and Network Technologies department from architecture development to deployment on a level of leading. As manager, I am responsible in leading projects (with hands on supervision on deployment/configuration) delivering these key technologies (IoT, Network/WAN/LAN & Telecom) from business requirement analysis (End-User requirements) to design formulation/inception (HLD and LLD development), and overall architecture design development to meet business criterions before release for deployment to operational monitoring: SLAs & KPIs, + troubleshooting, plus, and overall Telecom & Network infrastructure for the Expo site (This includes providing the infrastructure backbone: Fiberlink connecting all network equipment such as routers, switches, RRUs & Telco BTS’). Adding on, additional responsibility are development of RFPs, RFIs, supervision of subcontractors, liaison with Expo’s partners for the overall programme plan management for the delivery of IoT/Network/Telecom projects.
As an assistant manager, I am responsible in supporting the team on the design, provision and operation of key Expo systems under the IoT/Network/Telco sector together with Expo’s premier partners. This responsibility includes business requirements analysis, meeting with different functional areas stakeholders to understand the needs (Network & Telco eg. density analysis) and part of this responsibility is to help on the planning, development, deployment, project management (eg. Programme plan, Budgetary/financial aspect), hands on operations control (monitoring SLAs & KPIs) in liaison with Expo’s technology providers.
Responsibilities: Acts as the main technical guidance on site for subcontractors in the implementation of SMART Philippines’ LTE, 3G and 2G expansion and roll-out projects. Resolves any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise during site implementation and integration.
Achievements: Was involved with SMART Philippines’ Refarming project in the province of Rizal which covers/involves
(Project covered 254 cell sites):
- Migration of all cellular technologies (2G, 3G and 4G) from a multi-vendor equipment cell site
into one equipment vendor (Huawei).
- Expansion of carriers and adding additional working bands of a cellular technology
- Migration of a 2G transport system from E1 system to IP ABIS system.
* Supervised 82 sites in between November 2014 to December 2014 implementation period of SMART
Philippines’ LTE-TDD Phase 3 Project. Covering 4 areas in metro manila.
Responsibilities: Plans for the efficient accomplishment of the workload by determining availability of required resources and coordinating with other offices to ensure that all maintenance activities and schedules are adequately supported. At the same time, maintains TRAX Maintenance Planning Module forecast for Philippine Airlines’ Maintenance Schedule, Engineering Publications, Non-routines and other time controlled tasks.
Achievements: Was assigned to be the main lead for the standardization of the 4 newly delivered widebodied aircraft of
our customer Philippines Airlines.
