Luxury Villas Compound located in the suburbs of Athens - renovation of a compound built in the late seventies. Contracting, timetables, all day supervision. Created and managed a team comprising of one Mechanical Engineer and two trainees.
• Building Complex - Athens, Greece
Building Permits, and conceptual Design, assembly of team of people which I lead through to the end of the concrete phase of the project.
• New Port of Lavrion - Athens, Greece
Conceptual Design and contract work. The aim of the project was to reduce the boat traffic from and to the port of Piraeus to less than 30%, close the existing commercial port of Rafina and turn it into a private marina.
Spent a four month period assessing the work done in three major Government projects of the company and claiming up to 15.000.000€ in damage funds from the National Hospital Building Fund (DEPANOM) due to delays in our timetables for which ALTE S.A. was not to be accounted for.
Part of an “On Site” 13-person team comprised of Engineers and Architects travelling nationwide (Alexandroupolis, Serres, Korinthos), for supervision and site work.
Projects supervised included:
• Alexandroupolis University Hospital - Alexandroupoli, Greece
To this day the largest and most up to date hospital in the Balkan region.
• Serres University Hospital - Serres, Greece
• Kakia Skala - Korinthos, Greece
Among the largest tunnel projects to have taken place in Europe.
As a placement undertaken in my Undergraduate Degree i was supervising the construction of two three-story buildings located in the suburbs of Athens.
