Established and developed the team. Responsible for globally supporting the messaging, Active Directory, Windows server & desktop deployment infrastructure built on SCCM 2012 R2 and disparate security and back office applications across the organization. Managing and prioritizing the team’s workload. Responsible for performance management of the team based in London and Switzerland, inc remuneration decisions. Part of the senior management team focusing on translating the strategic goals of the business and development teams into deliverable projects. Responsible for implementing the ITIL framework using Service Now, also part of the team integrating Service Now the business operations department to drive efficiency within the software asset management area. Defining, documenting and implementing a secure Windows server build standard using SCCM based on the CIS Windows 2008/2012 R2 benchmark. The Monetary Authority of Singapore has signed off this standard. Applying this standard to Windows based e-trading systems within the company. Led the project to work with the business to evaluate the major players in both the mobile email and two-factor authentication space. Worked with the respective resellers to negotiate best value for the company. Co-ordinated the roll out of MobileIron & RSA soft tokens to over 1100 staff across the globe. Part of team tasked with the search for a suitable vendor to provide a two-factor authentication solution to offer our global client base of over 130, 000. Working with the development teams and the business to define the requirements and arrange POC. Negotiated with vendor, ensuring the deal was completed within the timescales. Lead role within the project to build out a new office in Switzerland, which, due to strict local regulatory requirements, required a large degree of autonomy from London. Once complete, the new office, IT processes and policies subject to an exhaustive and successful, audit by FINMA. Recruited a support engineer to be able to work as independently as possible in the Geneva office. Part of the IT Prod management team tasked with liaising with representative from PWC co-ordinating the annual audit. Integrating a development company based in Belarus into the company. Provide the infrastructure to allow 80 staff based in Belarus to access the corporate infrastructure from behind a firewall. The team worked to set up the Windows elements of a DMZ development environment in London for the Belarus devs. Working with devs, storage and network teams to plan and implement an end-to-end secure Windows DMZ environment for the both the Metatrader and futures trading platform. Both projects had extremely tight deadlines. Worked with our reseller partners to negotiate, sign, and on an annual basis, renew the MS Enterprise Agreement. Led the negotiations with Symantec to conclude a heavily discounted three-year maintenance deal. Project lead on the global Windows 7 rollout, migrating into SCCM 2007 from Altiris as part of the deployment. Windows 2008 R2 domain controller upgrade, took the lead to plan and co-ordinate the upgrade and raising of the domain functional level to ensure the trading systems reliant upon LDAP and Kerberos authentication were fully tested and signed off. Implemented Cisco Ironport Email Security Appliance to aggressive timescales. Built a DMZ based Active Directory environment, utilising a one-way forest trust and Microsoft Read Only Domain Controllers allowing over 1300 Linux hosts to utilise Centrify to offer full Kerberos authentication and group policy control. Recommended and implemented Symantec Enterprise Vault File System Archiving, allowing the business to reduce cost by implementing a tiered storage system. Worked on major litigation project, utilizing Enterprise Vault Discovery Accelerator to ensure the company fulfilled the terms of the disclosure process. Project manager for the Dubai office implementation and Exchange 2007 - 2013 migration.

Responsible for a team of six supporting a global user base that rose from 300 in three offices, to over 1000 in fifteen offices.
Part of the project team that planned and migrated, over the course of three weekends, 700 users in the London office to the new location in the City.
Led the migration of the DR facilities for London users to a 350-seat site. On completion the London office was closed as part of a full DR test. A successful test that has subsequently been repeated every year since.
Integrated Hedgestreet, a US based derivatives exchange into IG. Seamlessly migrated the user base, located in Chicago and Bangalore into IG.
