Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the estimation of electrical scope in projects under tender.
2. Study the specifications, BOQ and drawings to determine the scope of work. Raise tender queries for the discrepancies. Make sure that everything required for the project is accounted for before tender submission.
3. Making sure the materials, equipment’s and site works complies with project quality and specification requirements after the project is awarded.
4. Responsible for material take-off’s, fabrication of technical drawings and cost enquiries from the suppliers.
5. Enquires to the suppliers and subcontractors and review the quotations for the terms and conditions that would comply with the project requirement.
6. Responsible for the preparation and submission of technical submittals for MEP works.
7. Make sure all procurement processes should conform to the management approved procedures and policies with respect to time, cost and quality.
8. Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
9. Review quality of all materials and site works to ensure compliance to all project specifications and quality and collaborate with other departments for all material procurements.
10. Analyze all products, site works and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
11. Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.
12. Supervise a project team at site in execution phase. Making sure everything conforms to the project specification and will comply with the target completion date.
13. Coordinates with local authorities in getting the required NOC’s prior to mobilizing team on site.
14. Coordinates with the consultant and client in carrying out with inspections. Prepares the required shop drawings and documents to be submitted to authorities to get their approval before procuring the major equipment’s.
15. Coordinates with sub-contractors and suppliers in getting the project done in a manner that meets the project’s requirements and target completion.
16. Liaise with local authority inspectors in getting their approval.
17. Conducts system testing and commissioning as per the approved method statements prior to handing over.
18. Makes sure that the O & M manuals to be submitted satisfies the system requirements of the project.
19. Conducts trainings to the facilities management team
