In my current roles, I have developed expertise in the following areas:

- Performance Monitoring: I monitor departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strategic initiatives to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance and Safety: I ensure compliance with local codes and best practices related to cleaning, chemical usage, waste disposal, and environmental actions to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Work Approval: I sign off on work completion certificates, verifying that tasks have been completed to satisfaction.
- Permits and Coordination: I create Permits to Work (PTW) for vendors and subcontractors and coordinate with operational departments to meet their needs.
- Service Request Management: I manage Service Requests (SR) and ensure they are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: I maintain proper inventory levels for spare parts necessary for facilities equipment and monitor and manage cleaning product stock.
- Preventative Maintenance: I monitor Soft Facilities PM tasks to ensure the maintenance schedule is optimized for equipment efficiency and reduced downtime.
- Contractor and Vendor Supervision: I supervise contractors and vendors working within the university, ensuring their work aligns with established standards.
- Facility Maintenance: I plan, direct, control, and manage all aspects of Soft Services facility maintenance, including maintenance activities and personnel.
- Maintenance Programs: I approve Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) programs for implementation into the Computer-Managed Maintenance System (CMMS).
