Administer and supervise the department administrative and technical aspects
Manage, prepare and implement Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and work instructions in line with company compliance with Integrated Management System OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) & ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System)
Advice HSE & Security personnel engaged in providing records management, security, purchasing and other administrative services
Conduct Health, Safety & Environmental audits and develop HSE management & HSE assurance to ensure the company’s compliance with the Integrated Management System OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) & ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System) requirements
Planning and reorganizing the company's organization and operations in compliance with Integrated Management System.
Directs staff responsible for systematically sampling the adequacy and reliability of internal control and HSE systems.
Directs review and verification of records, compliance with standards, policies and procedures.
Recommends changes, ensures that company policies and procedures are followed, and establishes techniques.
Develops audit procedures and systems and oversees audit findings and recommendations.
Review and advise the company’s regulatory compliance and procedures in line to government laws and other legal requirements and regulations
Conduct assessments and propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures to all company operations from department management, construction operations and records management & effective communication.
Analyze and provide advice to the management for effective policies, target and objectives, long term and short term goals.
Monitor, evaluate and assessed the company's compliance with the country legal and other requirements in observance with the company’s Integrated Management System.
Interprets routine administrative policies and decisions as necessary in line with the company Integrated Management System.
Acts as an advisor in the implementation and administration of all aspects with regards to accident prevention and control, motor fleet accident prevention and equipment control both company owned and client owned property
Acts as an advisor in preparing & conducting risk assessment on the areas and work activities that complies with Integrated Management System OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) & ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System) requirements.
Prepare HSE Plan, Sustainability HSE for TENDERING, Procedures & Health, Safety & Environmental for Method of Statement that meets the terms of the type of project.
Keep up to date recommended code of practice and safety literature, circulate information applicable to each level of employees.
Monitors the implementation of Health Safety and Environmental Programs of Petrol Steel Company to ensure compliance to local legislation & client’s standards & requirement.
Works under general direction of HSE Supervisor and participates in setting assignment objectives and strategies; plans own task schedule to meet objectives. Assist in all area of safety for pre-contract planning and incident prevention.
• Ensure of all kinds of safety measures applied in rigging, scaffolding inspection, wire line remove and renew of crane.
• Implementing safe system and procedures at work place.
• Ensure waste management control.
• Ensure the equipment & materials are safe for use.
• Identify the hazard and control.
• Monitor the construction activities at high elevations.
