Project Name: Microsoft, MLSNET Labs, Hyderabad July 2008-April 2012
Worked as a team lead and interim PM for the MS MLSNET project in Hyderabad. This job involves supporting the Microsoft MLS Labs network infrastructure in USA and other locations.The role also involves the support and troubleshooting of the F5 BIG-IP LTM load balancers. There are about 3200 network devices that we support mainly consisting of Cisco 6509/Cisco ASRs/Cisco Nexus/Cisco 4948/3560/2350 switches which are used in the core, front end, and backend and aggregation layer and at access layer respectively. Responsible for deployment and support of the Cisco and F5 hardware and configurations including code and hotfix installations and handling the F5 related customer escalations, etc. Resolving the escalated incidents/problems from the Tier-1 and tier-2 teams.Preparing the network architecture documents as and when required. Worked in the US Redmond for 2 years for this project from 2008 to 2011 April. Trained and lead a team of 7 network engineers and highly contributed to the team's and project's growth interms of improvement of the team/project.
