Organizational Structuring & Re-Structuring
- Conduct industry wide research to decide an organizational structure model that supports the implementation of business strategies and the accomplishment of organization’s short/long term objectives.
- Designing macro and micro level Organizational Structures that best arrange resources to serve the organization’s mission and short/long term objectives.
- Developing functional descriptions, establishing communication lines across organization, define authority delegation and create appropriate committees, teams & taskforce which are required to achieve the organizational objectives.
Human Resources Policies & Procedures
- Design and development of Human Resources Policies and Procedures with focus on aligning Human Resources with core business objectives of the organization.
- Oversee smooth implementation of Human Resources Policies for Kuwaitization, manpower planning, recruitment, selection, orientation, compensation, benefits, leaves & absence management and training & career development of employees in the organization.
Job Analysis and Job Description
- Identify and determine in detail the particular job duties and requirements and the relative importance of these duties for a given job.
- Conduct Job Analysis with different methods which encompass interviews, expert panels, structured questionnaire, job observation and employee work logs.
- Write Job Descriptions to incorporate the purpose, duties & responsibilities, work relationship, work environment, required skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the jobs.
Job Evaluation and Job Grading System
- Conduct Job Evaluation using Point Factor method to evaluate the job positions to develop a grade structure and its link to compensation survey data.
- Knowledge in Hay Guide Chart Profile Method of Job Evaluation system to establish grade and pay differentials among jobs in the organization.
- Knowledge in Evaluation of three global factors (Know-How, Problem Solving and Accountability) of Hay based job evaluation.
Market Based Compensation & Benefits Scheme
- Design the Market based Compensation and Benefits Scheme with an objective to attract and retain an effective workforce in the organization.
- Design the salary structure, salary range spreads, and planned adjustments for different pay grades based on compensation survey reports.
- Oversee smooth implementation of Compensation and Benefits Scheme in the organization.
Manpower Planning and Recruitment
- Define the Manpower Requirement of the organization through Trend Analysis, Ratio Analysis and by Managerial Judgements.
- Fill the vacancies through internal job posting, succession planning and recruitment and selection of employees from both local and international market as per approved Manpower Requirement Plan.
- Conduct familiarization program for new recruits, induct them in appropriate job places as per the requirements.
Performance Management
- Conduct appraisal on the performance of the employees in the organization to identify the progress and accomplishment of the employees on a given jobs.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis and designing training and career development program to update and extend employees knowledge, skills, and experience to make them more effective in the jobs they perform.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs to identify the long-term impact on job performance.
Legal Management
- Draft and review of employment, consultancy, agency, MoU, NDA, Purchase, Sale, rental agreements and other business oriented agreements.
- Handle employment related legal issues and advice the management with update in labour regulations and other procedures to handle it in a professional way.
- Handle employment related litigations in coordination with external attorneys and/or law firms.
