• Overseeing the EPC subcontractor Commissioning activities related to the new facilities from Mechanical Completion thru to Facility Acceptance
• Participating in the review of EPC contractor developed CSU & Operational Readiness deliverables and ensure that all CSU plans developed are correctly implemented on the project.
• Performing all commissioning and startup matters relating to acceptance/assurance/verification.
• Overseeing commissioning interface testing to ensure HSSE compliance and technical assurance
• Ensuring proper control of Commissioning activities (progress vs planning, punch list follow-up.) and recommend any necessary corrective actions to maintain schedule
• Oversee Performance testing ensuring compliance with acceptance criteria
• Preparing the Pre-commissioning, commissioning and Start-up procedures and System based Commissioning sequences and handover schedule in consultation with Client Operations team
• Coordinating with Contractor/Vendor/client Commissioning team and Client Operations team to ensure safe and smooth execution of planned activities
• Participating in development of task risk evaluation/assessments and Perform the conformity checks on multi-discipline Systems and Subsystems and generate punch lists
• Performing flushing/blowing, Pigging, Leak Testing and purging activities on Process and Utilities Systems
• Participating in logic validation checks and test runs of rotating equipment and Execute the Commissioning activities on hydrocarbon systems in coordination with Client Operations team
• Support control room operations during the Commissioning, Start-up and Performance Testing
• Overall responsibility and ownership for Safety, Quality, and Schedule of execution of Pre- commissioning and Commissioning activities for the assigned Area/Systems
• Ensure the plant operates in a safe and effective manner within company environmental / integrity limits.
• Monitor all plant work activities in their area of responsibility.
• Responsible for maximizing production in accordance with operating procedure and plant design within operating envelope
• Operate plant to maximise production, late in field life with steep production decline. Maintaining a good standard of plant of housekeeping, integrity, fabric maintenance, safety equipment readiness, etc.
• Carry out action plan tasks to improve HSE standards. Attend day & night shift handovers and make sure accurate transfer of information / risks takes place. Keep log book up to date.
• Responsible for the entire field operations of all equipment in his assigned area, and types of equipment generally consist of all or some of the following items: Pumps, compressors, turbines, storage tanks, separators, furnaces, pipelines, columns/vessels, control valves, block valves, loading arms and jetty equipment.
• Respond immediately to plant process upsets/emergencies and safety emergencies, which can include gas leaks and fires etc. and observe and react to any field equipment abnormalities.
• Extensive experience in with various plant operation procedures in Oil and Gas environment
• Carry out assigned Operational work safely to assigned standards in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Check process parameters and coordinate with the Senior Operator to correct any deviations
• Carry out routine checks on equipment for abnormalities and inform Superior for prompt action.
• Prepare the plant / equipment for maintenance ensuring adherence to standards
• Operate related machinery & equipment safely and efficiently as per GASCO standards and instructions
• Receive chemicals, maintain the stock/consumption register and prepare chemical batches required for the process ensuring adherence to procedures
Isomerization, FCCU Fluidized Catalytic Cracking, Hydrocracking, Hydrogen Processing,
Petrochemical Olefins Polypropylene Polyethylene and CCGTPowerplants with its DCS operation and
ESD, Yokogawa centum CS 3000, Honeywell and ABB systems.
* System & Sub system walk down-mechanical completion & followed by Punch list activities.
* Coordinates mechanical completion certification for issuance of RFC, PSSR & RFSU (Ready for start-
up).
* Punch list activities & Validate from main contractors (on all disciplines) and coordinates to ICAPS.
* Coordinating instruments functional tests of plant’s equipments and machineries with Operations
* Oversees the work in progress, Ensures that contractor personnel are thoroughly briefed regarding
all safety rules and regulations pertaining to their work, carry out tool box talk for Company &
contractor technicians inclusive of attending the safety orientation briefing.

Good knowledge in process engineering functions having understanding of PFD, P&IDs, basic calculations, development of
engineering specifications, review of engineering documents, review of process package.
* Knowledge in analyzing the project contract and agreement.
* Preparing the joint protocol for commissioning and preparing the operational, analytical manuals.
* Checking the PFD with mass and energy balance, GAD, layout and elevation diagrams.
* Knowledge in analyzing the PDS for static and bought out equipment, P&I, interlock and control logic in process.

* Knowledge in startup, stabilization, troubleshooting the process.
* Create and maintain operating and training manuals for the plant. Ensure that all technicians are trained on the most

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
* Site coordination with structural, civil, instrumentation and electric erection.
* Being as a process operation person and involve in all field operation activities.
* Start / Stop - Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Blowers, Turbo-Expander compressor.
* Operation of Heater, furnace, Coolers, heat exchangers, condensers, Distillation /
Fractionation Columns.
* Everyday routine jobs like dosing pump change over, oil make up checking of ampere and pressure.
* Operation of Steam drums, various types of MOV-Valves, Isolation valves, Control valves, J-T VALVES.
* Operation of three phase separators (Gas, oil, & water separators.), Wellheads Platform.
* Routine checks of Parameters as Flow, Pressure, Temperature, Level checking.
* Sample collection at various stages as per scheduled.
* Daily shift reports / records of Log-sheets, maintenance work reports, production reports
* Close observation & Routine Checks on Static & Rotating Equipment’s for their performance as per S.O.P.
* Prepare system or equipment like Pump, Compressor, reactor, vessel for handling over for maintenance work, inspection,
next to take the same back for operation / in line.
* Take fast corrective action in case of plant upset by process parameters.
* Instrument failure equipment failure. Or any hydrocarbon leakage or any other poisonous gas like H2s.
* Operation of Chemicals Additives as Anti-oxidant, pH scavenger, TSP, Anti foam, De - emulsifier.
