Strategic Projects & Transformation Initiatives

• Led the Last Mile insourcing strategy, transitioning order volumes from three external Final Mile Providers (FMPs)
to one, increasing in-house delivery capacity by approximately 65% and reducing third-party dependency.
• Scaled in-house delivery capacity by approximately 65% during peak Black Friday demand by deploying additional
rental vehicles internally rather than outsourcing to external Final Mile Providers (FMPs), maintaining service
levels during the peak period.
• Optimized fleet utilization by migrating STS/CNC delivery orders from the Retail Fleet to the Last Mile Delivery
network, improving asset utilization and overall delivery capacity.
• Spearheaded the business case and operating model design for Cash-on-Delivery (COD) services across e
commerce channels, evaluating internal and 3PL operating models to balance cost efficiency, turnaround time,
and customer experience.
• Developed the business case and secured senior management approval to obtain a commercial delivery licence
and expand the fleet, laying the foundation for a new third-party logistics revenue stream.
• Led warehouse operational readiness planning for the launch of Primarks first franchise in Kuwait, including
inbound/outbound planning, workforce structure, shift design, and resource allocation.
• Led GPS implementation across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Lebanon, and Egypt, improving fleet visibility and operational

• Developed Fleet KPI dashboards and performance management frameworks to drive data-led decision-making

• Oversaw 23 freight forwarders across Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, managing tenders and ensuring on-time shipment delivery.

sourcing, and Deployment/Re-deployment across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the United States.
• Sourced competitive bids from inland commercial carriers across Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Turkey, Bahrain, Qatar, and
UAE through the Global Freight Management (GFM) system, awarding shipments based on cost, value, and
operational requirements.
• Coordinated with the Cargo Booking Section and GATES (Global Air Transportation Execution System) team to
manage documentation and monitor carrier performance, generating Bills of Lading, processing payments via
Power Track, and producing carrier evaluation reports.
• Managed customs import/export documentation and clearance at Umm Qasr, Iraq and Kuwait Ports.
• Secured LAMANA (No Objection Certificate) clearances to avoid demurrage and detention costs, while
maintaining strong working relationships with the Kuwait Port Authority (KPA).
• Reconciled shipment processes with carriers, 3PL providers, and agents, monitored port and distribution centre
inventory and loading operations, and applied multi-modal shipment guidelines across cross-functional teams.

• Implemented property control activities to maintain accountability for government, contractor, and leased
company equipment.
• Conducted physical inventories, verified supporting documentation, and confirmed asset details to safeguard
against discrepancies.
• Maintained accurate databases and spreadsheets, generated Lost/Damaged/Destroyed asset reports, and
managed shipping records, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
