Cerner Corporation (Cerner) is a supplier of healthcare information technology (HIT) solutions, healthcare devices and related services. The Company's software solutions have been designed and developed on the unified Cerner Millennium architecture. This person-centric solution framework combines clinical, financial and management information systems. Cerner Millennium provides access to an individual's electronic medical record (EMR) at the point of care and organizes and delivers information. It also offers services, including implementation and training, remote hosting, operational management services, support and maintenance, healthcare data analysis, clinical process optimization, transaction processing, employer clinics and employer health plan third party administrator (TPA) services.


TEAM: - CERNER UPGRADE CENTER
CERNER UPGRADE CENTER: -- The Upgrade Center ensures upgrades are completed quickly and efficiently. The team provides support for a single upgrade or maintains the upgrade management and support for multi-upgrade services. The Team works of latest Code Level releases.

In 2013, the Upgrade Center is achieved another record-breaking year in volume as it helps clients attain code levels supporting Meaningful Use Stage 2 and ICD 10 requirements.

Environment: Manual Testing, QC, Automation Tool: Touchstone (Cerner Internal Tool)
Duration: Oct 2011- Jun 2014.
Major Responsibilities include:
● Worked on Primary solution as Access Management which includes Patient Registration Management and Scheduling.

● Closely working with US clients to understand the requirements.

● Worked and had taken End to End Ownership for Middle EAST Clients for solution like Registration Management, Powerchart.

● Testing various US, UAE client hospital workflows on latest Code Level.

● Creation of regression test scripts, execution of regression testing, performing build steps, issue management, quick win enhancements, and conversion support.

● Trouble Shooting the Client Go-Live Issues

● Follow up with client on the deliverable for the support and work on further enhancements

● Automated the Regression Test Scripts for Registration Management by using Cerner Automation Tool Touch Stone

● Hands on with Cerner Millennium solution like Order Management, Pharmacy (Pharm net), Power Chart

● Configured the Application to meet the requirements of the client

● Defects are continuously reviewed and resolved on newer code levels.

● Communication and diligently worked with the Test Lead / Test Manager / Development Lead.

● Involved in daily status reporting and official meetings.

TrakCare(TM) www.intersystems.in/
TrakCare(TM) is an advanced Web-based healthcare information system that rapidly delivers the benefits of an Electronic Patient Record. It is used by leading hospitals in 25 countries to bring exponential improvements to the care of every patient and to the productivity of every healthcare professional.
TrakCare provides a complete enterprise-wide clinical and administrative solution, and its application modules easily and seamlessly connect with existing legacy systems and other best of breed applications. In addition, with its unique "FastTrak to EPR" methodology, TrakCare enables an Electronic Patient Record to be deployed in record time.

Environment: Manual Testing, Cache, QC
Duration: Feb 2009- to Oct 2011
Major Responsibilities include

Worked with an onsite team for phase wise implementation of the Intersystem product TrakCare. Part of the successful implementation team of an Enterprise Hospital Information System at 700 bedded hospitals

● Product Testing with Live Data from various dept. for ex. (o.p.d, Pharmacy, IPD, Lab)

● Analyze requirements and develop the Test Cases

● Involved on testing the new functionalities based on test cases and coordinated with development Team in fixing the issues..

● Involved in Functional testing.

● Writing and Executing Test cases

● Validation and Verification (V&V)

● Consolidating the observation of test results in test reports.

● Trouble Shooting the Client Go-Live Issues

● Involved in writing the Test cases based on FRS document and executing the same


Other Responsibilities:
Involved in designing workflows for the various entities and departments of the hospital, based on requirements.
● Functional customization for Laboratory Information Systems Module & Pharmacy module
● Designing Lab Reports by using TEST SET LAYOUT
● Giving the training on Product functionality to Hospital users and analyzing how the software product works, also the improvement areas of the working of the software.
● Resolving high level user's issues that help in clarifying the complexities of the software
● Interacting with users trying to understand their needs related to it thus making the software more users friendly.
