Administrate the network having more than 250 users, having more than 4 high-availability production servers in clustered environment and 3 remote server locations ensuring uptime and load balancing. Investigate user and network problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
•Manages Western region and Corporate network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing & maintaining routers, firewalls and switches; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; resetting passwords; establishing e-mail addresses, group e-mail address; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores; etc. Performs routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
•Install, configure, and maintain production servers, backup servers, file servers, RAS servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems;
•Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.
•Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
•Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
•Manage and Resolve issue of Business application RetailPro9 Server and Client. Support SAP R3/BI string issue. Resolve end user network and system related issue with in SLA.
•Monitor network performance using the ManageEngine NetFlow Analyzer to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future
•Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
•Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
•I/O port punching & Cat5/6 crimping.
•Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
