Working Area since joining M/s Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited:-
❖ Main Plant, Switch yard, Material Handling system, Ash handling System.
Present Duty and Responsibility as Supervisor (Electrical) in brief: -
❖ To ensure execution of all jobs as assigned by HOD and as required for the management of the plant operation.
❖ To organize and supervise Preventive and Breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting as required.
❖ To ensure safety during trouble shooting, maintenance and operation activities.
❖ To check status of spares and consumables, Tools & Plants Etc and to indent, procurement follow up, Site Supervision of Spares, consumables and T&P etc.
❖ To work for improvement/modification in systems and cost control measures.
❖ To execute contract including supervision of work, work measurement and checking/process of contractor's/vendor's invoice and claims.
❖ To supervise work of workers engaged in repair and maintenance activities as well as job contracts.
❖ Maintaining records of MIV, MRR etc and materials in department's Custody and maintenance history.
❖ Any other work based on exigencies or assignment given by superiors from time to time.
❖ To Observe Status of Electrical System and Report for abnormality & deficiency.
Major Activities carried out during my Tenure in Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited
❖ Taken active part in Erection and Commissioning of 220KV outdoor Switchyard with Associated Equipments including Power Transformer upto 150 MVA capacity, 220 kV SF6 Breaker, Isolators, CT, PT, LA Relay and Control Panel, 6.6 KV HT Switchgears, Battery charger and battery bank.
❖ Supervised Overhauling & testing of 6.6KV HT Motors including Motor handling from Location.
❖ Supervised Battery Capacity Testing.
❖ Supervised Servicing and testing of 6.6.KV Metal clad Vacuum Circuit breakers.
❖ Supervised Capital overhauling and testing of 125Mw Generator Sets.
❖ Re-commissioning of Generator Transformer & Station Transformer after major Failures.
❖ Restoration of Electrical System after major fire breakdown in the Bunker.
❖ Have carried out modifications in the Plant to increase availability and reliability of equipments.

ELECTRICAL MAINTAINANCE
❖ I had worked with Wanakbori Thermal Power Station (G.E.B) (1470MW) as Apprentice Engineer From Sept 2002 to Feb 2003.
Responsibilities:-
• Maintenance of HT/LT motors, transformers, HT/LT Switchgears.
• Battery charger & battery maintainance.
• DC system, lighting system.
• Errection, commitioning, &testing of electrical equipment.
