To assist and support the Business Development Directorate in its business processes, projects, events, sales activities and marketing execution on an organisational and administrative level in order to optimise sales results and marketing expenditures for the ICSS.

• Manage client basket and build strong and lasting relationships with contacts. Enlarge client basket by approaching subsidiaries/group companies of client. Contact existing clients quarterly to follow up on new retrievals. Co-ordinate with clients and arrange quarterly/bi-annual/annual invoice retrievals. Perform on-site invoice retrievals, audit foreign payment and foreign travel expense files and reports provided by clients. Arrange self-retrievals, communicate requirements and arrange couriers if necessary.
• Ensure all required documentation is obtained from client in correctly completed format within specified time-frame. Deal with administration involved in compiling a claim: Invoice separation, calculation of VAT amounts, creating letters of explanation for clients to sign, collection of all country required documents etc.
• Use online system to record all activities, plan retrievals and enter data of retrieval outputs. Complete and submit all daily/weekly/monthly or other requested reports in specified time to country manager. Stay up to date with VAT laws and training materials provided by training department. Liaise with third parties such as freight agents or suppliers regarding invoices for complicated claims such as Import VAT, Aviation VAT, etc. Respond to requests for documents from clients from processing department, transmit claim packs in correct format and correspond with Operations Director regarding claims and complicated issues.
• Identify new areas of business for UTTR. Transmit requested documents to processing team in specified time-frame. Follow up with processing team on status of claims and communicate it with the clients to update them.

Exams Services Marketing and Customer Service Officer في British Council Nepal

• To lead on the implementation of the Examination Services Action Plan (MAP) in British Council Nepal including all market research and promotion activities, in consultation with the Branch Manager and exams marketing managers in Delhi.
• To lead on the implementation of Market Research on all exams products (IELTS, GCE, Professional exams, BC tests). To lead on researching the needs of internal and external customers to enable the British Council to provide its own marketable services and products and to promote the British Council and Britain successfully to targeted group.
• To lead on the implementation of the agreed Promotion and Marketing strategy for all exams products. To develop exams services and products, and to maintain and strengthen strategic partnerships with institutional partners, clients and media through a variety of these promotional activities. Branding of all examinations services work is correct at all promotional events and all publications.
• To manage the IELTS Agent Management Network to ensure that all exams services objectives and targets are met.
• To line manage three independent consultants to deliver strategic objectives for IELTS and GCE exams products in accordance with the MAP and liaison with marketing manager in Delhi.
• To manage routine customer services activities for British Council Nepal, these duties include monitoring day-to-day operations for VFS including staff roistering and information provision like date closure. Managing test day complaints and on-site customer escalations, act as the designated complaints manager for Nepal Officer, monitor compliance from BC operations including the Delhi team, as well as the outsource provider within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Act as the test day administrator and provide support to examinations administrations in order to meet customer needs and enable the exams team to meet its objective. Ensure the British Council Examinations Quality Standards (EQS) are met. Ensure that contingency planning is in place with Business Continuity Plans for all exams in all situations ( bands, demonstrations, earthquakes, etc)
