Function as Sr. IT Officer for a leading supplier of ready-mix concrete and cement-based plastering materials, a business conglomerate in Abu Dhabi having business partnership in and outside the UAE.
• Render support to business processes by efficiently managing helpdesk, network & servers and maintaining VoIP.
• Set up & configure OS and other hardware; maintain system uptime by managing storage, firewall and antivirus.
• Ensure compliance with project delivery schedules and other SLA parameters by preparing project schedules, costs & estimates.
• Coordinate activities related to troubleshooting of desktop, network and server related issues including management of IT infrastructure.
• Monitored performance of team members and conducted training sessions for team members based on business requirements.
• Prepare & present various status reports for the senior management and other stakeholders to enable effective decision making
Key Profile: Managed helpdesk operations for a MNC Ranking No.1 in world in Ready-mix Concrete (RMC) supply and No.3 in Cement Production business with plants in more than 50 countries.
• Coordinated activities related to setting up & configuring OS and other Hardware, managing print & file servers.
• Set up & configured OS, JDE & Lotus Notes client as well as other security systems.
• Interacted with project teams to ensure seamless implementation of projects based on client requirements. Enterprise Impact:
• Functioned as Local Coordinator interacting with NEORIS & CommandAlkon Technicians for GINCO & Command Batch implementation project.
