SUB ENGINEER with experience in analyzing and clearing faults reported in the substation.
•Sound technical knowledge to adept and analyze the new technologies as per the emerging requirements.
•Familiar with general procedures such as Electrical installation and finishing, testing of electrical installations, quality management, phase & rotation checks and ground grid requirements.
•Familiar with several technologies such as Electrical systems (low, medium and high voltage), basic understanding of integrated electrical machinery& hydraulic systems, fibre optical systems.
•Proficiency with Health and Safety procedures/ methods like electrical safety, fall protection awareness, basic site induction, basic understanding of hazardous materials.
•Strong interpersonal and client facing skills.
•Ability to process, analyze, and interpret new technologies and recommend solutions based on the data gathered.
•Proficient computer skills utilizing MS Office basic programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
•Perform under high stress and fast paced environment.
Inspect, operate and maintain substations and various transmission, distribution and generation apparatus consistent with company policies and safety regulations. Direct the activities of others as assigned. Be responsible for time reporting and other reports as required.
-Performed reporting and analysis.-Exposed to Operation and Maintenance of HT & LT equipments .-Subjected to different kind of relays, power transformers, current transformers, potential transformers etc.-Assist the operator in switching operations and in issuing permit.-Take hourly Energy and Temperature readings in the substation.
