Responsible for ensuring that servers hosted in the data centres are secure, operational
and the mission critical business system are highly available and uptime as per SLA is
maintained.
Responsible for the day to day supervision of the team of Operators on a shift.
Regularly and proactively monitor various elements of IT Infrastructure facilities namely
power supply, UPS, generator, Air condition & humidity control units, fire detection &
suppression systems, etc. Escalate and follow up for periodic maintenance with vendors
supporting all such equipment
Application health Monitoring using HP-Open view, BMS and NNM tools and
providing first level technical support on IT Infrastructure Facilities, Windows, Unix,
Linux and MS Exchange servers hosted in Data Centers and other remote locations.
Co-ordinate in the hardware installation and removal from data center. Verify and ensure
that such activity is carried as per guidance through a check list.
Ensure all servers are duel powered from two separate DB
Application and database shutdown startup as per defined procedure as a part of routine
schedule or for taking cold backups.
Do export backup and RMAN online backup as per schedule.
Server re-starting as per defined procedure
Shift application and DB to DR site if failure occurs in Primary site.
In case of failure, co-ordinate with various team and ensure that the service is restored
with least impact to the business unit and do the root cause analyzing and take corrective
action to avoid further occurrence.
Configure and administer backups in HP Data Protector and Symantec Backup Exec and
managing backups as per defined procedure and frequencies.
Conducting periodic checks to restore backup data to test the integrity of backups.
Backup media retention by safe keeping or moving to off-site location till the expiry of
data protection.
Restore data from backup as and when required after getting proper authorization.
Carries out agreed operational procedures. Contributes to the implementation of
maintenance and installation work. Identifies operational problems and contributes to
their resolution.
Performs defined tasks to monitor service delivery against service level agreements and
maintains records of relevant information. Analyses service records against agreed
service levels regularly to identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of
service, and initiates or reports these actions and ensure process compliance.
Monitors service component capacity and initiates actions to resolve any shortfalls
according to agreed procedures
Identifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures. Uses
application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks

• Material planning and co-ordinate with various wings to execute the complete fabrication and supply of stainless steel pressure vessel, oil and gas vessels, chimneys, boiler etc.
• Co-ordinate with inspection agencies to get the pre-approval of quality of fabrication

• Vendor development: - Develop suitable or alternative vendor to manufacture and supply of automobile spare parts required for Isuzu heavy trucks as per the drawing design and specified quality standard.
• Do cost estimation and negotiate with vendor to get the parts supplied at the lowest
possible price.
• Production planning: - Get the production schedule in advance and work out the total
parts required for the planned production. Place order for the required parts and follow-up with vendors for timely supply of the material for the smooth production of the vehicle.
