• Leading the team of Buyers for managing the complete procurement & tendering process.
• Managed all aspects of contract lifecycle management; analyzed contract requirements; performed comprehensive contractual reviews, evaluations and recommended contract actions.
• Leading Request for Proposal (RFP) and RFP explanation meetings, contract pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract documents.
• Developing Internal Cost Estimates, Techno-commercial evaluations, Bid clarification and negotiations.
• Achieve cost reduction by following planned bidding/negotiation strategies for contract finalization.
• Focus on usage of technological tools like e-auction and Reverse auction to improve efficiency & transparency.
• Preparation of proposals for award of contracts and creation of Contract & Purchase orders.
• Ensuring correctness in preparation of contracts as per the established company procedure and best business practices.
• Ensure all contracts cover company Health, Safety and Environment procedures and policies.
• Interfacing with external agencies for techno-commercial negotiations, preparing tender / contract documents, internal cost estimates, including billing, variation/ deviation proposals and claims
• Administering Post award contract administration including monitoring & tracking of Contractor’s compliance to schedule, HSE & quality, amendments, contractor performance issues, payment issues contract closure.
• Mentoring Buyers in undertaking respective Category Management related activities like ICE preparation, alternate source of procurement & standardize contract template & SLAs.
• Undertake activities for sourcing events, vendor identification, technical and commercial negotiation and vendor selection.
• Managing timely delivery of procured Items.
• Monitoring Procurement Dashboard for delivering targeted operational performance levels.
