Roles & Responsibilities Fulfilled :

 Tracking and controlling potential hazards; spreading awareness of hazards of flammability & explosion, ventilation, occupational hygienic, engineering design, noise and vibration, etc.
 Ensuring and documenting Company’s compliance with mandatory HSE Requirements and attending to areas of deficiency and ensuring in-process improvement.
 Assisting Safety Internal Audits & Risk Assessment and implementing Health Safety Environment Management System in line with OSHA standards; discussing findings and recommending possible solutions for health/ safety issues. Following Audit findings and close out in timely manner.
 Advising on safety aspects to concerned departments & evaluating effectiveness of Safety System implemented on site
 Exposure to heavy and tandem lifts
 Advising employees on safety practices and Health / Safety Management Systems; conducting tool box talks, safety inductions.
 Attending the Emergency Response drills /demonstrations, reporting the outcomes of drills and advising for improvements when necessary
 Handling a gamut of tasks like accident reporting, investigation review: performing incident investigation, review.
 Conduct Noise, Lux surveys in shops & sites to ensure workforce are not exposed to these hazards.

 HSE induction for the vessel crews, direct and subcontractor employees
 Participated in Risk Assessment teams
 Routine Inspections onboard, workshops and department wise
 Ensuring the sub-contractors compliance with HSE plans, procedures and standards.
 Implementation of PTW system
 Assisted incident, accidents investing team
 Formulated & Conducted Toolbox talks for the workforce
 Documentation & updation of HSE records in the system
