1.5 million tonnes per annum capacity Borouge 4 project for Client- Borouge in Ruwais, UAE. The Project comprises two new polyethylene manufacturing plants and the 1-hexene unit, a component in the production of high-performance polyethylene, Utilities & Offsite which consists of constructing non-process buildings, roads, infrastructure, internal and external interfaces, tankage systems, flaring systems, utilities, and integration of Borouge 4 with the existing facilities and the second cross-linkable-polyethylene (XLPE) plant with a capacity of 100 thousand tonnes per annum and a Marine Container yard.
My Contribution:
 Serving as focal point for multi-discipline detailed engineering, procurement for Borouge 4, implementing initiatives and process, organizing, coordinating, and controlling projects assisting Engineering Manager and Project Manager.
 Defining scope, developing project contracting / procurement strategies and Project Execution Plans, defining resource requirements, resource allocation plans, and optimizing resources collaborating with Leads and Managers.
 Collaborating with project control, developing planning packages, WBS, schedules, EDDR, forecasting 3W/9W look ahead schedules, and man-hours requirement schedules to achieve planned/forecasted dates.
 Preparing, daily, weekly, and monthly performance repots, communicating project team members regularly, highlighting delays, and highlighting serious concerns to higher Management in advance for necessary actions implementation on time.
 Coordinating and Managing lump sum EPC Subcontractors inside UAE and with in-house Tecnimont engineering teams located in Mumbai - India, and Milan - Italy, communicating with Borourge and IPMT teams worldwide.
 Conducting kick-off meetings, on boarding subcontractors, vendors, providing necessary training/alignment workshops and guidance, improving overall project delivery process / business process by implementing innovative strategies.
 Coordinating and resolving technical Queries related to Multidiscipline Engineering and HSE Studies, monitoring document workflow, and expediting the review cycle.
 Expediting Drawing design development, review process, focusing on constraints, performing root cause analysis, conducting resolution meetings and workshops, and bridging the gaps.
 Managing engineering interface with other packages, coordinating with Interface Managers, collecting interface data, tie-in points data, circulating interface information with concerned disciplines, and ensuring implementation.
 Supporting subcontractors to manage and lead tier two and tier three Subcontractors project management teams for lump sum EPC work packages and coordinating and following up with Subcontractors.
 Monitoring daily performance following project timelines and milestones, conducting weekly engineering review meetings, and participating in EPC follow-up review meetings with Borouge.
 Coordinating with Lead Engineers, Department Managers, Designers, and Modellers, Project Functions, and Interfacing with Subcontractors, Third Parties, and Vendors.
