 Handling a team of more than 70 peoples of different nationalities such as Saudis, Philippines, Egyptians, Sri Lankans, Turkish etc to ensure strict adherence of operating procedures in shop floor
 Working on parameters for maximizing yield, minimizing overtime, nullifying safety incidents, ensuring quality products, lowering C.O.P, developing skilled manpower’s.
 Implementing Lean Management, TPM, TQM, and ISO 9001:2008, 5s, kaizan on shop floor.
 Involved in Lean six sigma project to reduce the number of defects in operation
 Ensuring smooth functioning of overall operations, enhance operational efficiency and cost optimization
 Determining KPI and appraisal for operators, technicians, Team leaders and superintendents.

• Acting as a team member for pattern line production enhancement from 130 tons/day to 150 tons/day, achieved the desired target before dead line
• Significantly reduced the controllable loss ( cutting, handling, lite miss, size change etc) during shift operation

• Pot room Operational activities

 Responsibilities include troubleshooting of criticalities and performing operational activities of the pot line with maximum efficiency.
 Planning, Organizing and coordinating for shift activities like Anode change, Metal tapping, Covering, Redressing and shift measurement (temperature, bath sampling, measure liquid bath and metal heights, current distribution) with proper co-ordination among the team members to achieve highest export grade metal producing pots.

 Maintaining General Housekeeping and to minimize anode effect
 Arrange vehicles for transportation of Metal, Anode, butt, copper-bar when requirement.
 Reporting about shift working and production, man power safety etc.to Room In charge & line In charge.
 Handling wide gamut of tasks like:
a. Allocating work to team members depending upon their responsibility.
b. Mentoring the team members of production team and maintaining various reports and updating the same to Higher Management.
c. Organizing customized training programs based on the training need analysis and providing employee coaching & counselling, appraising and reviewing performance, ensuring optimum performance.

 Process troubleshooting and stabilizing operation for increase quality production, decrease C.O.P. and optimization of the usage of raw materials.
