• Ensure all manufacturing operations within the Value Stream conform to worldwide corporate, statutory and regulatory requirements for GMP, EHS and Quality.
• Direct and coordinate the execution of manufacturing operations and schedules based on sales requirements and value stream capacity.
• Lead the efforts of operating teams across multiple lines or technologies within a Value Stream to efficiently convert materials into quality products.
• Ensure ongoing production of safe and defect-free products consistent with Mars' Quality Principles.
• Lead, empower and develop people, to facilitate a continuous improvement culture, with a growth mindset (both direct and indirect team members).
• Continually improve communication channels such as, Daily Production meetings, Value stream Planning meetings & Monthly Value Stream communications, etc.
• Support, lead and participate with Quality, R&D and Engineering on new product introductions.
• Recommend and implement changes in methods, equipment, systems, and organization to meet operational objectives.
• Drive associate engagement through teamwork and individual accountability.
• Work with the site leadership team to establish short and long-term goals for the site.
• Drive and maintain customer focus within Value Stream.
• Reduce cost of manufacture year-on-year by actively encouraging, promoting and facilitating implementation of innovative solutions to ensure quality while delivering lower costs and shorter lead times.

To lead shift Operators/Technicians and Contractors to deliver the contract deliveries for the shift. Working on shift to manage the production team of an assigned area or line or task within value stream organisation with a span of control more than 25 direct reports. To facilitate, co-ordinate, prioritize and communicate operational activities in order to achieve KPIs relevant to the assigned area/line in his shift time. To manage and to develop the shift operators/Technicians to foster a high level of team engagement.

To coordinate the daily and short term activities among all production lines by working directly with production operators, motivating and coordinating them in a wide range of standard and non-standard tasks. The main responsibility is to ensure efficient factory running conditions that complies with all Safety, Quality, Housekeeping and GMPs requirements.

Commissioning, installation, calibration and maintaining various field instruments (Pressure, flow, level transmitters. PID and temperature controllers, Pressure and temperature gauges. Weighing scales and bridges, Control and pneumatic valves etc.) Used in Chemical industries.
