- Reviewing the scope of work & tender document in compliance to specification, civil defence and client requirements.
- Preparation of bill of quantities, detailed cost estimates for Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems, Kitchen Hood Wet Chemical Systems, Fire and Gas Detection Systems in Oil & Gas industry.
- Preparation of Value engineering proposal and approval from consultant / client.
- Provides technical / pre-sales support to new or existing customers, partners, and resellers to promote and sell products / solutions.
- Coordinating and liaison with all other design team members plus client, project managers, EPC contractors and QS.
- Supporting technically in review of design packages and drawings including design of hydraulic flow calculations.
- Provides technical support to respond to RFPs, consultant comments and other client inquiries including preparation of Pre-Qualification Documents, Technical Submittals and O&M Manuals.
- Participating in various levels of business development, including meetings and presentations with Clients.
- Liaison with purchasing department to provide continued feedback to ensure competitive pricing.
- Composition of overseas purchase order requests and related order costing.
- GPA: 7.7 - Academic Project: Design analysis and Fabrication of a Twin Chamber Furnace for forging of iron at Metal Industries Ltd. In Shoranur, Kerala. - Academic Internship: Dealt with the general maintenance and overhauling of public transit buses at K.S.R.T.C Central Workshop, Trivandrum.
