Administration and Manitainence of approximately 1000 databases ranging from 500MB to 350GB
Checking the health of the Database environment on a daily basis by running the developed T-SQL Scripts which will give us the Status of the Database Size, Log File size, Backup Status, Log Shipping Status, Replication status and in case issues are noticed working towards resolving them
Managing the Share Point Related Content and Configuration databases, understanding the DR growth pattern and planning for the same to avoid space issues for the Critical Share point application
Successfully implemented Log shipping for 48 Production servers and approximately 250 databases, also Implemented Transactional replication (Push Publication) for one of the critical databases, which is further log shipped to provide more redundancy for that database
Successfully completed the Major Eagle Flight project where the role of all the SQL servers was made to change. (Prod servers were made DR and the DR servers were made Prod).Replication of jobs, Logins, DTS, Log Shipping, Transactional Replication etc. formed a major part of the project

Migration and Segregation of SQL Servers: There were a total of 8 Development Servers, 14 UAT servers and 24 Production instances which were migrated and segregated to bring down the no of SQL instances. Total- 46 SQL Instances, after the activity the count was narrowed down to 2 Development servers, 8 UAT servers and 18 Production servers. Total- 28 SQL Instances
Installation and Configuration of an Application called as Perception Software that was used to serve online tests for different clients to cater to their requirement, the backend for the same was SQL 2000 on a separate Database dedicated server. The communication between Application and database server was established via ODBC.
Managing 27 Locations across India via a Central console to troubleshoot application / database related issues and resolve the same, uploading /generating reports from the database for the day’s activity and sending it across to the respective client
Spearheading a team of 57 Engineers across 27 Locations for getting the individual centers ready for the MAHE Exams (Manipal University Exams), which involved Installing\Configuring the servers across all locations via a central console from Mumbai itself and also Configuring IP Cameras at all locations, and setting them all up on a central monitor in Manipal from where all the locations could be monitored
