Chief Responsibilities:
Managing full group payroll of all the regions & Supervising accounts payable for all the region.
Reporting to Financial Controller & Senior Management for monthly/quarterly employee cost and budget.
Monitoring Payroll Accountants to make sure all cost inputs gone to actual cost centers and payroll burden account maintaining properly.
Processing the payrolls on specified cutoff date as per employee contracts & executing all statutory return.
Heading the activities for processing the payroll of 2400 staff & pension payment for national staff.
Generating payroll reports & preparing payroll reconciliation.
Preparing staff costing for each division for accurate manpower planning.
Harmonizing with managers, following up with other divisions, maintaining confidential files & records.
Executing payroll correspondences & coordinating with general staff of various departments for inputs relating to payment, leave salary, deductions, etc. Major Projects Handled:
Key member of the team which implemented Orion Payroll, an Oracle based mid-range ERP solution.
Accredited as a Technical Personnel for the implementation of the new Oracle based payroll management system and played an excellent role in boosting the confidence of the Payroll team.
Handling new business practices like the concept of Dummy Processing, Multi Company, Month Closing, Segregation of earning/deduction codes by grades, allowances, Monthly Leave and Gratuity accruals, etc.
Preparing and migrating data from the old system, actively participate in business process study, new Payroll Database to Oracle from dBase, disbursement of arrears salaries and annual increment, etc. at the project final implementation stage of new Payroll Management System. Accomplishments:
