1. A highly skilled Electrical Engineer with around 38+ years of experience in Offshore and Onshore based Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals and Hydro carbon Processing Projects including Power Generation, Power System with inter-connections with Utilities, Control and Distribution of Electrical Power with latest state of the art technologies (Offshore and Onshore Projects).

Lead Electrical Engineer
Offshore 6 Well Head Platforms for water injection, power generation, power transmission using submarine cables at 6.6kV, 4 gas turbine-generator sets for power generation (EGT TB-5000) and all associated work.
My involvement included developing specifications, detailed design and engineering, system studies including load flow studies, voltage dip/drop studies, fault level studies, transient stability studies, various equipment material requisitions (MRs), review of vendors bids, technical bid analysis, recommendations for purchase, purchase orders (PRs), vendor drawings review/approval and vendor data incorporation, progress reporting and monitoring within the budgeted man-hours, interaction with client and vendors, detailed design and engineering involving all activities including single line diagrams(SLDs), schematics, protection and metering, hazardous area classification drawings using Model code of safe practice(British Institute of Petroleum) equipment/power, lighting, earthing and lightning protection layouts, communication system layouts etc.

Interacting with reputed engineering consultants and contractors of the world for complete basic engineering, detailed design and engineering, procurement and construction for the project. The project had total cost as US$ 4000 million (US $ 4 billion)
Worked with M/S Bechtel-UK as Specialist Electrical Design Engineer and was associated from conceptual and basic design stage to preparation of various detailed design and engineering documents and drawings for very large Petrochemicals complex covering single line diagrams (SLDs), protection and metering systems, control schematics, power, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, communication system layouts, fire alarm systems, hazardous area classifications, selection of equipment for hazardous areas etc.
As Deputy Manager- Project Eng. Division (HQ, New Delhi) and worked for the following major projects. My involvement included complete basic design development, detailed design and engineering, procurement and commissioning of the following projects:
220 kV Switchyard and 22kV Sub-station, Hook up with 2x19.6 MW Power Plant for ONGC, India
Feasibility Studies for Co-generation and Power System Studies for ONGC, India
Oil and Gas Gathering Stations for ONGC for the western region
Ethane Propane Recovery Project (C2-C3) for ONGC, India
8-MM cubic metre per day of Ethane-Propane recovery and 10 MM cubic metre per day gas sweetening facilities. This Ethane Propane is used as feedstock for 300, 000 TPA Gas Cracker by IPCL, Nagothane. Responsible for complete electrical system including 15, 000 kW (VSDS) systems using frequency converters and all associated equipment.
Crude Stabilisation (Dehydration), LPG Separation, Crude Storage and Pumping Facilities for ONGC, Uran, Bombay (Phase-1, Phase-2 and Phase-3)-From Concept to Commissioning
The ultimate capacities after various phases were as under:

LPG Separation 8 MNSCMPD- (400, 000 TPA)
Crude Storage and Pumping Facilities 8x60, 000 cubic metre storage and associated pumping system
Water Injection South (WIS) Project-Offshore Project for ONGC, Bombay High
Water Injection Facilities using 4, 500 kW Water Injection Pumps with all associated Power Generation, Distribution including 96 men living quarters.
South Bassein Gas Field Complex for ONGC, Bombay
This project consisted of facilities to process 10 MM Cubic metre of gas per day.
This involved nine gas and oil wells, gas-processing facilities, 124 man living quarters, flare and power generation facilities.
The total power generation was 10, 000 kW using 3xTB 5000 turbine generators of EGT-Ruston Gas Turbines.
Involved in complete basic and detailed design of the facilities including all procurement related activities.
Assigned to ABB-Lummus Crest Inc., Houston for complete design and engineering, procurement for the above project. Review/approval of ABB-Lummus Crest design for all the activities.
