• Procurement of all kind of MEP - Electricals Systems such as Fire Alarm & Voice Evacuation, CCTV, LV switchgear, structured cabling etc., required in the field of construction.
• Handled Procurement of all Electricals systems for the project “Badrah - Waterfront Neighborhood Retail Center” at Jebel Ali, Dubai.
• Attending all major meetings with the vendors for finalizing the electrical systems as and when required for the project.
• Negotiating with the vendors for price finalization within the project budget, delivery, lead time, payment terms and conditions consistent with business requirements.
• Explaining and making sure that the vendors comply the systems as per Project specifications and identifying the variations if any.
• Exposure in understanding the project CAD drawings based on the project requirements.
• Preparing the Agreements for sub - contracts and Terms & Conditions annexures for the supply, installation and testing & commissioning of all systems required for the project.
• Identifying and analyzing the variations of the systems as per the project specifications provided by the client and the consultant.
• Following up with the vendors for product supply to site and inspecting based on the quality reports of the materials along the consultants.
• Handling vendor cost analysis for commercial & technical base.
- Handled project "Badrah - Waterfront Neighborhood Retail Center", at Jebel Ali and "Falaknaz - Commercial & Residential Building" at Al Qusais.
Procurement of all kind of electronic active and passive items for all new design development (On fast turnaround time) and also for manufacturing.
Identifying the vendors as per client’s requirements.
Negotiating pricing, delivery, lead time, payment terms and conditions consistent with business requirements.
Preparing purchase schedules for timely procurement of raw materials to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Follow-up with suppliers for delivery schedule, pull in/push out and cancellation as per material coverage.
Resolving disputes & claims with vendors & suppliers.
Follow up with Planners and Component engineers as per the demands changes and needs.
Commitment on arrival of materials to planning department.
Coordinating with the stores for monitoring inventories of raw materials and generating purchase orders for the various materials required.
Responsible for submitting the daily performance report on Order confirmation, pull-in, cancellation and postponement to the client on daily basis.
End user of BAAN IV for the procurement activities.
Arranging conference calls with suppliers to have quarterly business reviews and to show how the production line works and projecting about the importance of materials delivery on time.
Negotiate and select suitable service providers based on comparison of quotations and other criteria offered by different providers.
Identifying and developing a dedicated and alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials and reduction in delivery time.
