QC Mechanical Inspector at Arkad Engineering & Construction Company - Aramco Approval
Working as a Mechanical Inspector Major responsibilities are to conduct all types valves hydro testing from receiving to preservation. Job responsibilities as follows - First of all receiving of valves to done as per Aramco checklist- Check all gauges are calibrated and in good condition- Then for testing of valves as per Aramco standard, filling all SATR reports, checklist and other related documents.- Aft completion of valve testing we should do proper preservation as per Aramco standard and kept in separate location.- All rejected valves should
be kept in quarantine area and quarantine log should be properly maintained.- Witnessing repairing of valves done by third parties after valves rejection or leakage.-Good communication with third party companies.
Aramco Approval
Presently performing Material Receiving Inspection of Mechanical Equipment and Materials such as Pipes / Pipe
Fittings / Welding Consumables (Cylinders, Electrodes) Pumps / Exchangers / Vessels.
All these Materials are received according to Saudi Aramco Codes, Check-list &Specifications.
Performing Equipment and Machinery
Preservation activities
clearance under the name of an endorsed official expert at the police.
Performing a lot of virtual physical and chemical tests and worked and trained on many of the equipment test
and testing.
During this long, I gained many skills and relations with official personals in ports, rail and some other relevant
government.
I did some of the marketing jobs and follow up customer complains.
In Preservation Daily / Weekly / Monthly activities such as Nitrogen Monitoring / Shaft Rotation and other
related activities.
Having work knowledge regarding Piping activities
Quality Control
Supervises purchasing of industrial equipment's and dealing with suppliers.
• Supervises purchasing of raw and packaging materials.
• Oversees the recruitments and management of staff
• Conduct strategic studies and marketing plans for the product.
• Dealing with relevant government sectors (Municipality, Saudi Labor Law)
