Role and Responsibilities - Medical
1- provide both basic and advanced emergency medical services
2- care, and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport
3- planning and implementing the clinical program and patient care to ensure consistently effective/efficient service
4- evaluate the team's performance while setting their expectations
5- conduct a clinical assessment at each scene
6- report your treatment plan to the family, and implement interventions as needed.
7- inspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure the safety of patients and the transport team
8- enforce policies and procedures
Role and Responsibilities - Administration
1-create schedules, assign and distribute work
2-prepare staff reports, back up workers in call-off situations and promote positive customer relations
3- interact with managers, boards and dispatch centers to solve problems or answer questions
4-handle accident logs, prepare staff reports and submit grant proposals, as well as assist EMTs on difficult or unusual assignments
