• (March 2013 - up to now): Mercy Corps as Monitoring, Evaluation and Reports
Officer.
• In coordination with the M&E Manager, assist with field work for a base line survey with measurable indicators in line with the objectives outlined in the BPCS proposal.
• Complete fieldwork for a monitoring and evaluation plan for the BPCS program, measuring the impact of the program against goals and indicators throughout the life of the program.
• Prepare and submit narrative reports based on the findings in BPCS work areas.
• Submit a monthly progress report on the Assessment & Monitoring group activities to the M&E
Manager.
• Travel to all areas of BPCS to carry out survey and conduct both individual as well as focus-group
interviews in target areas of work.
• Provide training in assessment & monitoring methodologies to relevant staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• (February 2007 - up to now): Mercy Corps as Monitoring, Evaluation and Reports
Officer.
Duties: • Lead the implementation of sector specific surveys such as; baseline, ICT assessments, Quick food
assessment.
• Maintaining a comprehensive projects' filing system.
• Fill the final evaluation form when projects are handed over to communities and all activities
including transformative are completed.
• Finishing the polling quarterly.
• Complete the weekly employment report in coordination with each project's mobilizer to compile
data.
• Implement weekly the office weekly report.
• Facilitate with co-coordinators and procurement manger to prepare weekly project statutes update.
• Supervise the literacy group discussions (FGD) which done by literacy program focal point at end of each month.
• Complete HR reports and send it to DHoO at the end of each month.
• Assist literacy focal points in preparing the payments documents for Al-Ferdos civil NGO.
• Issuing Codes for the approved projects.
• Complete the CAP Projects Tracking sheet and Send it to the Head of Office.
• (Oct. 2012- Feb. 2013): Governance Strengthening Project (Taqadum), Monitoring
& Evaluation South Region Specialist.
Duties: • Organize the collection of baseline data and the setting of targets, where possible.
• Organize the collection of data in accordance with the PMP.
• Give project staff training and guidance to help them collect data.
• Compile and analyze relevant data to demonstrate project progress for contractual reports, including
quarterly and annual reports and/or presentations.
• Provide as-requested M&E data to the client in a timely manner.

• Support the development of the project's PMP by helping to select indicators and complete indicator
reference sheets.
• (May 2005 - January 2007): Chief Design in Al-Basrah Al-Eqtisadia Magazine
(ABAE)
Duties: • To research, design, produce and distribute a monthly magazine initially consisting of between 15 and 30 pages with a focus on: profile of Basrawi businesses, best business practice, and information for businesses on how they can work with international.
• To develop and deliver an appropriate range of marketing and information support materials to promote the availability/ delivery and editorial accessibility of the Basra Business Journal.
• To establish a database of interested parties, key contacts, partners and beneficiaries to assist with the organization and delivery of editorial content, external contributors, advertising clients and
subscribers, ect.
• To set up meetings, presentations, ect that lead to contributions to the editorial content or purchases of BBJ.
• To monitor and evaluate participant feedback to identify product/ service development opportunities.
• The development of a strategy for the sustainable delivery of an evolving (ABAE) and the establishment of counterpart publications (perhaps in partnership) in the other three neighboring
provinces.
• (July 2003- May 2005): Administrative Assistant, Save the Children Organization,
Iraq office, Basra-Iraq.
Duties: • Assist in completing administrative duties in support of the Re-establishment of the Targeted
Nutrition Project in Basra Governorate.
• Develop and maintain project information files.
• Create and maintain all computer spreadsheets, databases and electronic program documents.
• Assist in facilitating in any refresher training of staff as program sites re-start activities.

• Co-ordinate the submission of timely monthly reports from project sites to Save the Children, MoH and UNICEF.
• Inform the Nutrition program Manager and Nutrition Program Officer of any delays or problems with implementation of the project.
• As requested, assist in developing, in cooperation with MoH and UNICEF, any nutrition education
material for the program.
• Printing and designing education materials for Nutrition Projects.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluation activities as necessary.
• (July 2001- July 2003): Computer Lecturer and Date Entry, Al-Sadeer Computing
Institution, Basra-Iraq.
Duties: • Giving lecturers in programs (Windows and Word)
• Typing various researches, thesis, letters, contract and different document.
• Translate telegrams and researches.
