* Operation, Supervision & Controlling of whole powerhouse equipment through SCADA.
* Providing technical support & assistance to team members.
* Hand on experience in maintaining station logs, preparing trouble reports, issuing SP
Tag, and requesting and issuing PTW as per the safety policy of the company.
* Preparing of Station Log having all the events of a powerhouse.
* Identifying faults & abnormalities, isolating & rectifying them.
* Restoring of a powerhouse, Auxiliary through Diesel Generator in case of line tripping.
* Training of all new employees on the worksite
* Ensure that all code standards and legislations are followed.
* Prepare reports regarding the progress of the project whether positive or negative.
* Preparation of daily operation data (DOD) which include Max Active & Reactive load,
Daily units Exported (GEPCO), Progressive Monthly Units Exported, Total Units Exported
since testing, Average flow, 11KV lines Max KV & Amp, Min KV & Amp.
* Calculation of Outages from live network & preparation of tripping report along with
curves
* Schedule all necessary inspections and escort inspector throughout.
* Keep coordination with the irrigation department for ensuring optimum generation.
* Monitoring UCC, Upstream, Hydrology/inflow to fore Bay gross head, intake gate
position, etc
Calculation for voltage drop, cable sizing, Lighting system Lux level, capacitor banks,
UPS and Battery sizing.
* Preparing Electrical drawings such as single Line diagram, Load schedule, Lighting and
small Power.
* Testing and commission of AHU, Smoke Fans, Ensuring that equipment works to its
specification.
* Manage and execution for testing and commissioning for all Electrical Services such as
MDB, SMDB, and DB panels, creating and carrying out test procedures.
* Responsible for raising Inspection request for the work done in the project.
* Conduct Site Inspection with the presence of Consultant in the site.
* Coordinate with office staff, consultants, client to accomplish the projects.
* Overseeing and managing the site labor force and sub-contractors
* Ensures that all the works done in accordance with the approved construction drawings,
contract documents, and project specifications.
* Seeks to learn from mistakes & actively seeks feedback from the peers and supervisors to
improve performance.
* Fully understands the HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to
area of responsibility.
