Role and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for construction and execution of 132/66/11 kV sub-stations (including foundations for heavy equipment like IDT transformers, 66 KV Gas Insulated Switchgears, Underground Oil/Water Tank using shoring, dewatering system using latest Techniques) and other Civil Activities.
• Co-ordination with sub-contractors, in order to make sure that all activities are in compliance with SIEMENS and Client (KAHRAMAA).
• Co-ordination and follow up with Design team to ensure all design and drawings are timely approved from Client/Consultant and are issued to Sub-contractor well in time.
• Responsible for acquiring excavation, foundation and full building permit from Municipality and their inspections to site whenever necessary.
• Responsible for all civil co-ordination required for Firefighting, MEP, Small Lightning and power, Transformer erection, testing and commissioning and other Electrical requirements.
• Responsible for Red marked (As Built) drawings.
• Responsible for Completion of all Civil snags list.
• Supervision of All civil Works including Raft/Isolated foundations, Generator foundations, Transformer rooms, Cable rooms, Electrical pits, trenches and other constructional activities.
• Coordination with Client to incorporate contract specifications on site.
• Weekly meeting with client over progress pace and quality issues.
• Preparation of Bidding Documents/BOQ.
• Preparation of Bid Comparison for different contractors on basis of Cost, Professional experience and resources.
• Preparation of Bid Evaluation for Short listed contractors.
• Ensurance of civil works execution with safety, quality, and upto planned progress pace as per Client Requirement.
• Responsible for checking/Arranging the required resources for construction.
• Responsible for completion of all works as per contract including finishing items.
• Provide guidance/technical support to field staff, follow up schedule and ensure availability of drawings, manpower and equipment.
• Coordinating all construction activities on site with different disciplines and parties.
• Coordination with Design office for any changes if required on site and preparation of As-Built drawings.
• Ensure availability of AFC drawings and approval of civil work construction materials.
• Coordination in preparation of Redline drawings and development of AS-BUILT drawings through it.
• Supervision of All civil Works including piling, Pile cap, Blast proof wall and other constructional activities.
• Ensurance of civil works execution with safety, quality, and upto planned progress pace as per FAL/SK requirement.
• Responsible for checking the resources required for construction.
• Responsible for completion of all works as per contract including finishing items.
• Provide guidance/technical support to field staff, follow up schedule and ensure availability of drawings, manpower and equipment.

• Ensure availability of IFC drawings and approval of civil work construction materials.
• Prepare weekly construction activity schedule.
• Initiate RFI and coordinate with inspectors.
• Follow up concrete delivery and other material. Ensure preparation of As Built drawings.
• Coordinate with third party inspection agency.
• Assure and control quality.
• Ensure availability of sufficient manpower and construction equipment.
• Prepare periodical report and immediate reporting about critical issues.
• Supervision of All civil Works including piling, Pile cap, Process area foundations, Roads, Dike wall, pipe sleepers, Culverts, backfilling, Switch gear room, Generator and transformer Room work.
• Ensurance of civil works execution with safety, quality, and upto planned progress pace.
• Documentation related to all civil activities of project as well as of base plant.
• Correspondence with main contractor (CNCEC-China) and subcons regarding progress and to implement checks to catch-up desired quality and progress pace.
• Setting out technical terms and conditions with contractor as well as supervision, monitoring of construction quality/progress regarding base plant maintenance and new civil works.
• Supervision of Macro, Micro, MBTS and BSC Sites Activities i.e. Concreting, Checking of Steel, Tower Erection, Power Connections and Supervision of other activities till RFI (Ready for Installation).
• Doing the Acquisition Visits for Macro, Micro and BSC Sites, Selection of locations considering favorable conditions for Buildout and Preparation of Annexure for Buildout activities (approximately 500 sites visited).
• Buildout and Acquisition of sites for VI-MAX project.

On above Projects my responsibilities were,
• Checking of reinforcement, formwork, water cement Ratio, concreting, material quality, finishing items and makes it possible to meet drawings and specified standards.
• Observe work standards as well as progress pace so that project can be complete in client’s specified time period.
• Supervision of Pile work (Drift Pile / Rotary Pile).
• Resolve any uncertain problematic condition on site.
• Doing the Supervision of Concreting, reinforcement also checking of material Quality and Strength.
• Make possible the Completion of Project with in Specified time duration.
I am Graduate in CIVIL Engineering passed out in 2003.
