Job Description
Approve documentation of all maintenance activities.
Create improvement plans for maintenance processes.
Ensure Workplace Safety and Health policies, procedures and regulations are followed.
Implement improved maintenance system to enhance the reliability of all the equipment.
Manage annual budget for the department.
Manage multiple contractors to ensure safety requirements as well as operating and quality standards are met.
Manage the workshop's performance in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams.
Recommend vendors based on proposal evaluation and cost.
Review and approve maintenance schedule and manpower plans.
Review audits on maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.
Assessment & pricing the tenders:
• Study the contract specifications & the quality level required.
• Management costs.
• Staff required & the costing.
• Economic viability & compare the benefits arising from the implementation of the project.
• Business Plan & Budget Preparation.
• Monitor daily operations.
• Prepare & monitor the agreements & provide the client with the right services.
• Monitor contracts fulfillment & make sure the client satisfaction with the services
provided by the division.
• Responsible for rental agreement Terms & Condition to save the company payment.
• Determine terms of payments.
• Hiring the equipment internally & outside the Organization.
• Always be up-to-date (update the hire rate) & analyses information to develop the plans.
• Resolve issues & complaints.
• Assign work, monitor staff & evaluate performance.
• Take the Decisions in the development of operation with the client.
• Generating new business.
Rental & Transport Div. Duties & Responsibilities:

Planning, organizing & deployment of men & material for the routine & scheduled maintenance
of equipment & vehicles.
• Planning & procuring spares & tools required for the maintenance of equipment & vehicles.
• Giving instructions to workers regarding deployment to project sites & long term contracts.
• Managing Periodic Maintenance & checkup of company vehicles & equipment
• Implement company policies & procedures related to G&T Division
• Ensure that equipment/vehicles received in the garage have been properly serviced/repaired
• Monitor performance of mechanics & other workers
• Provision of cranes & constructional machinery to the various project (Support Service)
• Ensure to provide competitive service to customers
• Notify the higher authority of any major repairs needed for any of the vehicles/equipment noted
during periodic check-up & give all suggestions & solutions.
• Planning for Budget
• Report the higher authority regarding the working condition of vehicle & equipment.
• Maintain Garage Store with adequate stock of fast-moving items & consumables that need
routine maintenance/repairs.
• Manage Garage store activities.
• Maintain repair & periodic maintenance record of vehicles & equipment
• Prepare & send a monthly report on the maintenance cost of vehicles & equipment to the higher
authority.
• Recommend to a higher authority for constant improvement of the operational procedures.
• Manage Transport Division Activities.
• Contact equipment suppliers for the hiring of equipment that is not available in our fleet as &
when required.
• Coordinator for the project like:
• RasGas (Garage Equipment Operation under Contract No. CT/RG18-/L01/042)
• RasGas (Garage Equipment Operation under Contract No. RLDTF/264)
• Qatargas, Contract No. LTC/OP/02/522
• QChem, Contract No. QC/TC/M/03/007 etc
• Ensure & test all Technicians, Drivers, & Heavy Drivers, Equipment Operator
(Crane & Forklift Operators).
