Group Supply Chain Manager, reporting into Group Supply Chain Director
Leading Supply chain for 9 group companies based in UAE & KSA, AED 700 million revenue
Responsible for E2E supply chain which primarily includes planning, transportation & warehousing
Leading a team of 6 direct & 100+ indirect reports
Key responsibilities:
● Set supply chain goals for the group, deploy & lead the execution across all group companies
● Implement new WH & logistics flows to optimize the cost while working with cross functional stakeholders
● Develop a continuous improvement program for all SC processes
● Coach and mentor SC team members to build capability & drive professional growth & development
-Leading S&OP discussions for the region and aligning sales targets for the year with GM
-Own all initiatives and projects execution for the region; work closely with our HQs in Geneva Singapore
-Lead establishing & delivery of logistics budget for the region & E2E loss analysis and elimination plans
- Closely work with Distributor to review and manage inventory, sales & shipment plans
- Led very complex supply chain transition of MEI Duracell business from P&G to Berkshire Hathaway, ensuring no loss of business/service from Day-1
-Demand planning leader, closely collaborate with commercial & finance team to make plans to deliver business top line & bottom line targets
- Delivering cash, cost & service targets for the MEI business, helped sustain more than 98% service level for the entire MEI business
-Led multiple formulations & commercial initiatives to provide competitive edge to our brand Duracell which helped establish it's leadership in multiple markets
- Responsible for India pack center Operations delivery & budget (200+ people)
-Category supply planner for Duracell India business
-Led 22, 000 sqft Duracell third party pack center operations, leading cost negotiations & ensuring delivery of operational KPIs
-Turned around service for Duracell India from 85% to 98% and sustained the same
-Simplified exports based supply chain for duracell thus reducing the cost by 70%
-Awarded P&G Global CEO award for turning around Duracell India supply chain across all measures of cash, cost & service in a year
-Awarded "Power of you" 'Platinum' by business director for stellar service improvement within short span of time
-Led supply planning & WH team of 25 people for Pampers India
-Managed more than 25 suppliers located across different countries, led SLEA, scorecard review
-Executed expansion projects for Pampers India thus increasing the capacity by 10 folds within 2 years
-Awarded "Power of You" 'Gold' by plant manager for reducing inventory by more than 30% through multiple interventions
-Worked with Global business unit to make India pampers business completely local from 95% exports base business within two years
-Led discussion of site operating strategy with line operations team aligning production & downtime schedules, changeover frequency and changeover time reduction plans etc.
-Successfully turned around India Pampers customer service from 92% to 97% by multiple interventions in close coordination with GBU & local market teams
Completed MBA in general management from India's 3rd rank college. Studied subjects across finance & operations.
Awarded Mechanical Engineering from one of the reputed institutes of India with distinction
